GT Distributors Inc — Attraction in Rossville

Today was my first time visiting GT Dist. I recently built my first M4 rifle and needed some accessories for it. After hearing all the commercials on WGOW 102.3 for GT I took a trip down there. WOW! I can’t not overstate how awesome this store is and not just because of their huge supply of everything Guns/weaponry, but their staff is AMAZING. The first person I met was Dale. I could tell really quickly Dale knew his stuff and was just the help I needed. After helping me chose a scope all while explaining in great detail the pros and cons of different scopes he then recommended the mount for the scope and told me exactly why that mount was what I needed, and no, it was not One of their expensive scopes. He actually gave me info to help instead of info to make money. He knows his products as well as anyone in their industry. I had 100 questions for him about ammo, grain, magazines, shooting distance and mounting the scope, etc... he then asked me if I had the gun and told me to bring it in. He walked me through and answered every question I had. He then mounted my scope after putting the mount on. Then If that wasn’t enough he grabbed his bore sight and allowed me to bore sight it (not knowing what I’m doing) he coached me through it and assisted me in sighting the scope on Zero. He did this all while treating me like a professional gun builder even though I’m sure he knew I was clueless. I'm rewriting my review from yesterday and giving five stars instead of three. After finding out I gun I ordered online was actually out of stock. I was a little discouraged and only gave three stars. Well the owner himself responded and told me who to contact. I spoke with Ray Gauldin and he was very professional and listened to me. He apologized for the inconvenience and reassured me it would be corrected. He gave my information to their other locations to find what I'm looking for. Well about a hour after getting off the phone with him. Donnie from their Florida location called me. He had exactly what I was looking for. He made sure to pick the best looking one for me. He handled the entire process from collecting payment and shipping information. This process is the best example of going above and beyond customer expectations. The city live in has six different gun stores but I'm going to look at GT distributors first. I may have to wait on shipping but in my opinion it's worth for that level of customer service. Those who posted negative feedback or one star. I'd imagine didn't reach out or give them a chance to make it right. To the owner, Ray and Donnie. You all have a customer for life. My purpose of my visit was to ask some technical questions about a pistol that I had recently purchased and to possibly purchase a used firearm. Brandon was the person to assist and provided answers to my technical questions and performed a quick upgrade to the connector pin of my pistol. He was professional in his interactions and very knowledgeable about the particular brand of firearm that I brought in and was also looking to purchase (Glock). I told Brandon that I was struggling with carrying a Glock 42 due to capacity but I really did not want to move back to a double stack Glock but I figured that was my only choice. Brandon then showed me a Glock 43x that was a larger caliber pistol with a higher capacity magazine yet still in the slime line version. It was a perfect fit and I ended up purchasing the Glock 43x. As a TN resident, I taken to the "TN room" where I was able to complete a background check and purchase the pistol and to be able to take the pistol home the very same day.
