Went on a cool but lovely weekday, after some hard rain over the weekend. We put a waterproof blanket in the grass so we could be in the sun and enjoyed a simple picnic. The smaller playground was great for the 2 year old and his little brother, but I'd say we were fortunate the day was cooler, as they only have 2 of the swings that are for the little ones. The slides and ladybug were hits, as well as the seated spinner. We tried to walk out the boardwalk to the river, but there was a huge mud pit full of water between the end of the walkway and the river platform. Watched a large turtle under the standing water next to the boardwalk for a while. The restrooms were open and clean enough. Read moreThis park is incredible! Wide paths and picturesque landscaping along the river; gorgeous and clean grounds to enjoy a leisurely walk with your dog or get a little run in — and mostly flat. They also have very nice and attractive, well-maintained adult exercise equipment that blends with nature along different parts of the path. Even their garbage and trash bins have pretty wood paddling around the side of it to keep them looking beautiful. They have two nice sand volleyball courts with a little shower for your feet. They have nice bathrooms and water fountains for humans and for pets! there are gorgeous stone steps leading into the river where you could put a float in if you like or a kayak if you have one. The spraygound only costs $2 per person for those that what to play in the water and the wristband is good all day. This place is also great even if you don't have kids. You could go for a run or bike the trail. The Roswell Riverside Sounds Concert Series is the 1st Saturday of the month and takes place right here in Riverside Park.
