Dear property owner of the Villas at Rowland Heights in response to your reply you stated you were actively working with me on a solution. As of today, I have not heard from anyone.. on June 3, 2024, I and Lorena Wilson from APS (Adult Protective Services )-who looks after my housing and well-being ) visited Steve Chong‘s office to pay the monies for June rent. This money was refused by Chong. A second attempt was made to pay for June rent and it was refused by Chong on July 3 again we tried to pay the rent for June and July this money was refused again by Chong. This statement was given to me by the male receptionist, I had to wait until Monday to talk to Chong because he (the receptionist )could not answer any questions. as I have always maintained and stated I have done nothing wrong. I am now stating this publicly. I was never arrested or questioned by authorities on these false allegations, your lease agreement (E) #22 states Unless otherwise provided by law proof of violation will not require criminal conviction but will be by preponderance of the evidence. Just so you know, I have sworn statements of your employees here at Villas of Rowland Heights who stated they witnessed the so-called incident I will be taking these statements to eviction hearing. Again, your manager Steve Chong, and his supervisor Business Manager Shalysa M. Need to be retrained in customer service and people skills. There’s no wonder why Shalysa M. public opinion is a one-star apartment management consultant, as I stated before Steve Chong has mismanaged your property and is a racist, I could direct you personally to residents here who have stated about his racial slurs. He needs to be removed from his position. You state you strive to be a five-star establishment but here you have a manager that’s bringing your public opinion down. -As I stated like in my garden, the beautiful flowers and plants I planted from bulbs and seeds, weeds do creep in that need to be pulled So the community can flourish. I hope you do achieve a five-star rating on Yelp and Google Maps. I hope you enjoyed the flowers I planted and the pygmy date palm on your property. Thank you very much for your time and help.
Sincerely, Daniel P.

Read moreI recently moved into this property and found a good balance between strict policy adherence and respectful, friendly interactions with visitors. In the process of finding a place to move in, the manager Abigail's sincere care and help have made me like this apartment more.
Maintenance requests are promptly received and addressed. especially the technician Martina is perfect and professional. She is very fast, accurate and so kind. I love her smile.
The apartment offers several amenities for seniors, including security system, a cozy library, a swimming pool, a spa, and a small gym.
The laundry facilities are affordable and clean, and they accept both credit cards and prepaid cash cards.
There is enough parking space, so visitors won’t have trouble finding a spot.
The community room is equipped with comfortable seating for TV viewing, a ping pong table, a billiard table, large tables for gatherings, and even a piano. Morning coffee is provided daily in the community room.
Residents receive key copies according to the number of occupants, and the property entrance gate is accessed using a provided key card. The second-floor units have carpeted floors to minimize noise, which shows thoughtfulness towards residents' comfort.
The air conditioning system is very quiet inside, but the noisy outside unit below the bedroom window disrupts sleep. This is the only downside.
Overall, the apartment complex seems to be well-designed and managed in consideration of the needs...
Read moreI wouldn't recommend anyone to move into this apartment. I've been living here for 3 years and just noticed that they're scamming the senior citizens here because most are Asians and don't speak English. Management don't fix the exercise equipments, i.e., tenants notified Management to fix the equipments since April 30, 2017 and still hasn't been fixed. Management charge tenants with trash and another $65 for water that's added to your rent, but no water meter. How can they determine your water usage...most seniors don't use that much water. After your first year of "lease," they will jack up the price to your next lease so high and you will need at least two months to notify them that you want to move out. What happened to the 30-day notice???? The handymen are good but the leasing agents are rude and don't know how to talk to the elderly, no professionalism. This place should be reported to the proper authorities for scamming...
