Historic Wilson Theatre — Attraction in Rupert

So wonderful! When you enter the event, you get your Hogwarts letter. There was a gift shops, Harry Potter themed snacks, characters, sorting hat, potions class, picking out a wand. Depending on which house you got, you get a little quest. Find the person they give you and ask them that question the sorter gave you for example, I had to find Perseus and ask about a password. My boyfriend had to find Draco and ask about the Unforgiveable Curses. They did amazing. But also, the event only last for a few days with specific showing times. Come early to wait in line. You can pick up your tickets earlier if you bought on line or pick them up when you get there for the event. VIP will let you in early, about 30 minutes. If you buy the Full Experience you still wait with the general admission. Once the doors open, the line gets moving pretty quickly. It is a little packed. But it's well worth it....

A friend recommended that we look into the Harry Potter experience at the Wilson Theater. My 6 year old was in awe for 2.5 hours. They did a brilliant job with the cast of characters who played their role to the tee and were so friendly and available for candid pictures. From potions class, sorting into houses, a treat at Honeydukes, to riding through downtown on the Hogwarts Express, this was by far the most magical experience of our Fall activities! Beautifully restored and maintained historic building that’s available for events and home of a vibrant arts program for all ages plus the closest to Broadway caliber musical performances in all of Southern Idaho. I just attended Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and was blown away!!! The singing & acting was outstanding but the added interpretations by actors, costumes, dance, fireworks & and bit of Cirque de Soleil was a delight!
