It is mostly a clean dog park with separate sections for small vs large dogs. However, there is NO grass as shown in Google maps; residents informed me the city removed it. That's a big thumbs down 👎 as the last think I want to do is give my large hairy dog a bath after visiting an all dirt park. They do have 3 water fountains (yes, please and thank you) but the city isn't keeping them clean; the adult and kids fountain are filled with dirt. The fountain for the dogs is much cleaner. The ground is covered entirely in crushed granite, so expect excessive dust when it’s dry or muddy paws and lots of sand if it’s wet. Across the street is a large human park and there’s also easy river access. I like this place because there’s a good variety of dog breeds. Both sides have sections of dirt and sections of grass, so there's something for even the pickiest pooch. Benches on both sides of the fence add a nice touch.
