What can you really say about a drive-thru experience? I eat fast food maybe once every six months when I'm about to pass out from lack of nourishment. On this particular occasion, that's about what it took for me to bring myself to put that food in my mouth.
Let me first start with the actual only pleasant part of my experience, the service. The young man who took my order was actually extremely prompt, polite, helpful, fast, and accurate from start to finish. He was 100% on point. He gets 5 stars.
Unfortunately, from the drive-thru speaker being shattered to the spray paint tagging on the menu board, the "atmosphere" at this location could be better managed. There's trash on the ground in the parking lot, somewhat out of sorts all around.
But the food.. that's where disappointment really sets in. My Crunchy Taco Supreme shell wasn't even halfway filled with ingredients, more like halfway empty with just about nothing. My Bean Burrito add Sour Cream was as big around as my forefinger and middle finger side by side. I never found the "add sourcream," but it definitely found its way onto my receipt. The beans smelled sour. I had to hold my nose, swallow without chewing, and "think good thoughts." That's my story, and I'm sticking to...
Read moreI had to delete my old review. Because for some reason, it wouldn't let me update it. It's fine to be honest. What I have to say now is more important than then. The survace is still garbage and they still get the orders wrong and even when there is no line it takes a long time to finally get your food (the Denny's down the street gets our food out faster than they do here) but all of that is NOTHING compared to what those poor employees have to suffer from!
So it's a 102°F day today, and THE INSIDE OF THE RESTAURANT IS HOTTER THAN THE OUTSIDE!!! It's no wonder the employees can have a little bit of attitude and get orders wrong. They're probably having heat stroke, and i'm not even joking. I'm not giving this a one-star because of the service and the fact that they got my order wrong (which they did, and I am showing a picture of when they remade my order to show the difference between the containers to prove that I think they are being severely affected by the conditions they are working in), but because management or the company doesn't give a flying F about their employees! Until they fix the air-conditioning or something, this stays 1 star and I will not order from this...
Read moreWent this morning. It was 6:40 am, the restaurant says it opens at 6. I waited 10 minutes at the drive through speaker, no answer. I pulled forward, and parked in the drive through to get someone's attention. There was 2 employees inside, one was cleaning while the other one was nowhere in sight. The gentleman cleaning told me they were still performing opening procedures and that they aren't serving food yet. I asked them why that was and the gentleman simply said, "We aren't open yet." He refused to help me. I don't want to sound like a mean person but if you're not ready to serve food, you can at least put a sign on the drive through window/speaker stating that you're not taking orders yet.
I had 4 cars behind me, and they were all upset as well. This kind of behavior is unacceptable, and while I understand there may be staff shortages everywhere, a little bit of communication goes a long way. I will not be returning to this location again, and I suggest the same to...
