We’ve been coming here for over 2 decades, in the early years as a poor Sac State college student looking for affordable food without breaking the bank. The food here is really good and yummy. The staff are always friendly and easy to talk to. Wait time for food is almost always about 10-15 minutes which is not bad since they assemble/make it upon ordering. If you’re looking for a convenient budget friendly non fancy place to grab a quick bite to eat, this is the place. You will not be disappointed. I recommend the Chili Verde, the Chicken Fajita Burrito, the Enchiladas, and even the Bean Rice and Cheese. All very good. Don’t forget to sign up for the award program using your cell number. Read moreThis is the best dang burrito restaurant ever. I left Sacramento in 2003. So, any time I am there, I have to stop here to eat. I have begged them to open another restaurant in Kansas. They have a great menu. Everything we have tried has been delicious. Our favorite is the Carne Asada Super Burrito. It is a big burrito stuffed with tender seasoned steak, fresh whole pinto beans, salsa, and rice. I always add the quac, sour cream, and cheese to mine. I have also ordered it without rice, and it was phenomenal. I hope that anyone living in Sacramento knows about this gem, but if not, I'm letting you know to go check them out. They have freshly made salsa & chips that are worth the trip if you're not looking for a meal. You won't be disappointed. Let them know the crazy Kansas lady sent you. Trust me, they will know who you are...
Read moreVegetarians go somewhere else. I asked for vegetarian burrito, lard (pork fat) was used to make bread and chips, and likely to fry the potatoes.
Constant heart burn, indigestion, after eating there.
Vegetarians and old people, cannot digest animal fat, no stomach enzymes to break down that type of grease. So the stomach produces excess acid; the burn. The resulting pain is an unwanted distraction all day long.
College vegetarians and people of the Middle East, avoid eating here to protect yourself. They deceptively advertise Vegetarian, but they either do not know how they hurt us, they do not care, or possibly they find enjoyment in deceiving us.
At the very least, their food caused me many hours of indigestion, the only place I have...
