I wouldn't take my dog here. Patient has been laying here for almost 6 hours without a soul checking on him. Catheter tank is full to overflowing. Room is filthy. Takes at least 15 minutes to get a nurse to come to the phone when you call for a patient update. The dirty gown and bedding laying on the bathroom floor are from the last patient to occupy the room as well as the urine in the toilet. The smell in the entire wing was unbearable. Do not let the pleasant lobby fool you the place is a sty!

Absolutely wonderful team-based healthcare. My dad had a heart valve put in yesterday and we were treated so compassionately. Doctor Cassus brought out his whole team to recognize them and Jodi is one of the best!!! All the nurses are so respectful and funny. I was able to call Brandy directly to ask questions leading up to the procedure. We had several appointments leading up to the valve and each time the team was super!!! Thank you all! Happy to bring my dad home today for Thanksgiving!!!!

A few years ago I came into the ER and had a wonderful staff and service.

I am a Veteran with chronic back pain and I often have a flare up 1-2 times a year that requires going in and getting a muscle relaxer, anti-inflammatory and pain meds.

Today, I met perhaps the rudest and most self-righteous person I have ever met in the medical field. Her name is Belinda Kakos, and she possesses all the people skills you could expect from someone who has spent five years on an uninhibited island.

She began by asking what was going on, then she cut me off when I told her I had been feeling lethargic for the past 7-10 days..her reply.

"No you weren't lethargic because if you were lethargic you would be unconscious"

Well I sort of just looked at her and kept going.

The 2nd time she came in I told her that I am not sure how she uses lethargic in the medical world but it literally means.

"adjective adjective: lethargic

affected by lethargy; sluggish and apathetic. "I felt tired and a little lethargic"

Now having said that she says, I disagree and when I am talking to a Physician, we use it to mean unconscious....

To which I asked... do you speak to more physicians or patients everyday?

Suffice it to say that after holding me there for around 7 hours, they gave me some muscle relaxants, a script for 6 (which I did no ask for)

And absolutely nothing for pain.

The Nurses and Nurses aid both have the personality of a cardboard box and all 3 of them would probably have difficulty working at a Jimmy John's making sandwiches, especially if those were ordered in person with another human being.

This woman ( I am not sure is she is a PA or Lord forbid Dr.) stinks of being a DEI hire and I suppose I should be thankful that she is at least not flying planes where she could kill many more people with gross incompetence.

As a final insult to injury, she returned to basically say that her job was done because in an emergency room, you are treating life-threatening issues...which I think must mean you better be having a heart attack or gotten shot to be in there...Most Stroke victims can't really bring themselves there.

One instance with such a person and it makes me terribly against female doctors...I think I would not want to see anyone else except perhaps an Eastern European Dr. and probably a male at that.

This woman working here is a lawsuit waiting to happen if it hasn't already. She has no business working with people.

I went to the pharmacy and checked on her little script, I informed the Pharmacist that they could return it because that person is not worth a pile of...

Was advised to come in to the ER and drive 400 miles to be seen for the three level cervical herniations pressing on my spinal cord loss of bladder control and arm weakness... ER staff was great. admitting MD was Kind. Once admitted all down hill. don't remember any of my stay due to medications i did not remember getting. family member asked why i was so sedated they said to keep me in the room. basically medically restraining me against my will. they continued all home medication for pain and that was sedating then added two new narcotic medications without telling me not while mentally competent that is. i was passing out in my food for 4 days. asked to lower meds wasn't given that option. eventually lost my mind and was dragging myself out to my car thinking i was a visitor and getting dragged by security back to my room. when i was no longer medicated i was in my car passenger seat with a very angry friend. who was driving me the 400 miles home. now as i sit at home with my condition falling apart everyday i cannot pull myself out of bed anymore and have to wait 2 months to see the surgeon i was supposed to see that day. that turned into 4 and still no surgeon to see me. idk why the nurses could not report my medicated condition to the attending and get me off some of those meds. i did not need 4 narcotic pain medications. i agreed to surgery to avoid that. now may i mention all my information is a haze and 2nd hand information from family visiting me. as i did not even know where i was or my name when asked when i was allowed to leave AMA with my IV port still in place i took it out at home. in MI when i had a head injury at the smallest little northern MI ER was not allowed to leave on my own unless i could identify reality and name where i was the day and the president. all i could not do. this hospital treated me like a drug addict for their own mistakes and pushed me off on security as a flight risk as i could not be leaving on my own hence chasing me down and forcing me back. aware my mind was gone at this point. but let me go no test and no doctor to verify i was sane. i was chemically insane and should have been sober from the lethal dose of analgesics that FDA says three combined is safe. not 4. then to chemically restrain a person without DR orders of confinement or Judge order to observe. i think most of my rights were violated. but try calling a patient liaison. you get transferred to a blank voicemail advising that the extension is busy leave a...

I was told I would have a choice of "many" urologists. When I got there the only 1 available was 1 who had physically and emotionally abused me in the past. I was sent there for a blocked ureter. They let me lay in bed with a blocked right ureter for 6 days. The nurses (especially Ann)made fun of me and told me I was being dramatic when I was exhibiting classic signs of septic shock. Finally I developed pneumonia, septicemia and respiratory failure and had to be recesutated twice. Both times they put me in the icu room my mother DIED in (I told them that it was). The 2nd time I requested treatment be stopped and that I be allowed to die since I was being put in the death room (I was repeatedly told I had to be quiet because there already was a dead person in the room) however since you are reading this you can see that they couldn't even get that done right! There was another doctor at another hospital 3 miles away who could have treated my blocked ureter immediately however st. Scary's refused to let me go and told me that this doctor didn't exist even though I asked to be sent elsewhere. If you want to shake hands with satan, go to this hospital. They are all about the $$$$$. After I was transferred to another part of the floor I had initially been on, I actually had a staff member from where I had originally been say to me "oh my God! You are still alive!" I recently had surgery to CORRECT the BOTCHED surgery done at st. Scary's. This surgery was done at another hospital. Less than 1 week later I have received a thank you card PERSONALLY SIGNED by all the staff at that hospital who cared for me. I have been discharged from st scarys for 3 weeks and all I have received is a letter asking me to donate money to them. What a grifting gyp joint. Why don't they just turn it into a casino? You are definitely taking a gamble with your life by going to this low rent place. The angel of death stalks the halls and Satan is in charge of all the decisions. UPDATE: My family doctor let it accidentally slip yesterday that I would not have developed pneumonia or septicemia if st scarys had honored my request and sent me elsewhere to get the problem solved quickly. And Saturday I got a statement from Medicare that st scarys has billed them for doing a chest x-ray on me when I was at home 200 miles away. So this proves to me that they are definitely all about the $$$$$ and nothing about the patient. You are better off letting your lawn mower take...
