I'm not a skater, but it looked like a pretty nice skate park area in the park. I did not like seeing that some of the skaters brought their dogs and left them tied up and barking while they spent their time skating. I'm sure the skaters were having a good time. I'm sure the dogs left alone, tied up barking were not having such a good time.
I went for the hiking trail with my dogs which are all paved and mostly flat. The thing I did not like about this park is that there are zero trees along the path, so a walk here in the summer in Missouri would not be very uncomfortable, not pleasant at all with the sun beating down on you the entire time. There is nothing of interest to see here and it does not provide the peaceful feeling of being out in nature. I will not be...

Many of the paths are usually overgrown and some have gotten very rough. The areas along the paths are seldom mowed other than right by the pavilions and parking lots. Forget about using the part of the trail that connects to the other part of the park under I-370, it is usually impassable because of standing water and mud and also the part that crosses over the creek is usually under water because they don't keep the culvert that runs under the path clear of debris. It's sad that a park with such potential is neglected...

The park has a nice skate park especially since to go it's free of charge to use the amenities there, the parking lot is made up of little pebbles so it fun to drive and RC car and there aren't many people there in cold weather I don't know for sure how many would be there in warmer weather, but that means you can do more and have less people interfere. Like me in an introvert so I don't like many people and I can withstand the cold so I do like going in...
