This area of old St Helens has a beautiful view of the river and sand island. It's where everyone goes when things are happening in st Helens. Example Halloween town, 13 might on the water and lots of other happenings go on there. I do wish there were less homeless hanging around d the bathrooms but I dont mind that so much. The historical buildings are incredible too. And the amphitheater built into the land is a wonderful place to listen to music and just relax. Pic is our campfire on sand island a few yrs back

Very pretty view of Mt St. Helen's and water activity. Had the pleasure of visiting on a Thursday when there was live music and vendors. Such a treat to see the community gather and have fun. Happens every Thursday. The next night a full moon and a spectacular sight right at sun set! There is a small park for kiddos and wide open space with picnic tables and Rv parking when there is no festivities going on. Boats dock here and kayaks launch to go to the island not far away. Swimming at the beach on that island.

Loved this location. It is a lovely venue to rent. I have attended a birthday party here as well as hosted a baby shower. Both times the facility was clean, and beautiful. The kiddos get to enjoy the fun water splash pad and playground, while the adults get to enjoy the lovely scenic views and enjoy the festivities while being close to the kiddos.

Situated between the docks, the courthouse and the river walk on the old mill property, it is a fun place to picnic. Summertime it hosts 13 Nights on The River. I consider it our community living room. Tiered levels make for good viewing of bands and events in the gazebo. Also overlooks the Columbia River. If you need to walk off a good meal there are fun shops on First Street, and the path around the river walk. If you need to find a good meal there are three restaurants less than a block away. Also has a restroom with showers adjacent to it. In the summer there is a splash fountain...

We moored our boat at the community dock and took a stroll through downtown St. Helens. Cute town that clearly prides itself on its Halloween events. Despite COVID-19 they had a little festival space in a park and all the businesses downtown seemed to participate. Downtown had lots of restaurants, though many are closed Monday & Tuesday. The community park has lots of kids party areas and a nice view over the channel and the river with lots of traffic. The community docks were nice with power available though lots of commercial traffic overnight kept the boat rocking and...

Not a huge park, but nice. Clear view of the Columbia River. On the right day you can see My. Saint Helens, and Mt. Hood from the park. There is a gazebo with tiered grass seating in front of it which is used for concerts in the summer. Its use including electrical outlets is available for rent through the city. There is a small playground and splash pad for the littles. There are public docks directly accessible from the park. Plenty of park tables for picnics on nice days. Currently, there is a large vacant lot adjacent which makes for a nice walk along the river on its...
