Centennial Park — Attraction in Salem

Went to the pool and it is not a relaxing experience. Not a friendly atmosphere from the lifeguards and staff. I understand safety and rules should be followed but they are over the top. Little ones are in trouble for hanging around the ramp. Well my thoughts are to have a kiddy pool for them. Splash pad is nice, however they also like to swim. The warden who sits by the shallow end constantly yelling at the little ones for standing by or on the ramp. They are little and don’t understand they are doing anything wrong. They aren’t hurting anybody or in anyone’s way. They are children 4 and under. I have never seen so many employees with such mean faces. Working with the public as I do kindness goes a long way! I will say there was one lifeguard who was very kind and I wish I knew his name to give him a shout out. Maybe the rest of you need to take a few...

It's very nice park it's been used for a swimming place for a long time it has a swimming pool in the summer in that Park and a very nice recreational area for the children to run jump and climb and other place where you can have picnics under Pavilions so they often have events there as well but it is really a nice place and has been used over the years I would recommend you go down to the center of parks and recreations to reserve a spot this summer and enjoy...
