Very excited to have a Chipotle in Salem but unfortunately the customer service is terrible.. First time we ordered online it was a week or so after they opened and it was 20 min past my pickup time by the time they had my order ready and they wernt even busy at all.. Maybe 2 or 3 cars in the pickup lane and 3 to 4 people in the lobby.. Any other Chipotle would have had my order ready on time or before the pickup time considering they wernt even busy. Since this was only a week after they opened I kinda let it slide and didn't think much of it.. Just ordered again last night. Placed my online order for pickup.. Placed the order at 511pm.. Was told the order would be ready for pickup at 530.. I arrived at the restaurant at 535.. Noticing right away the restaurant was not very busy at all.. Waited and waited and still nothing.. Finally at 545 I asked the cashier if there is an ETA on my order and she went back to the to go counter and IMMEDIATELY came back with my order! It was JUST SITTING BACK THERE! I'm not sure what everyone else thinks but that is EXTREMELY disrespectful to my time and that's just flat out horrible customer service. It takes 10 seconds to take the bags out to the to go shelves. Like the system is set up to do.. Unfortunately I will have to place my orders at the boardman/Canfield locations since those people actually know how to work...
Read moreWe ordered our food online at 5:51pm. Any normal Chipotle would take 20 minutes tops. We waited in line for 40 minutes in the drive through. Decided to go in to see of they could just wait in line. Got to the front of the line and asked if we could just have my food made this way since it was already paid for. They told me "No, your order is already ticketed for the drive through."
Okay.. Waited a little bit longer since I saw a few big orders being made and watched one worker re roll the same burrito for 2 minutes until he decided to just wrap up the foil on all of the loose ingredients and even still, none of that was my food. Finally decided I had to cut my loss when I saw multiple people say to the workers that they ordered over an hour ago. I guess I'll have to take it up with customer service to get my money back.
The concept of a chipotle drive through is cool in theory, but this store is the worst at execution and none of the workers seem to know what they are doing. Cars lined up clear back to rite aid. Not worth it unless you order hours ahead of time and still have another hour to wait in line.
I wish i could say this is a one time occurrence, but no, it's like this...
Read moreI have ordered from this Chipotle many times and have had some great experience. This most recent time on Monday, 1/29, was absolutely horrible. We ordered our same meal that we get all the time, the bowl except this time we got the new steak. Neither my wife nor I could tell you if this meat was any good. I got the fresh salsa and medium salsa in mine and when I got home, I could not even eat it due to the fact that the hot was put in. My wife’s bowl look more like a sample platter that forgot to have the food on it. Her bowl was half empty when we got home. There was maybe 10 pieces of the steak on hers. I reached out to the store on Monday night and did not get a call back. So, today, 2/1, I decided to call again. I have left message after message for a manager to reach out to me to no avail. This is unacceptable because this is their business and what they do. I expect some type of contact from either the store manager or from corporate.
