Fred Meyer Jewelers — Attraction in Salem

I paid for a custom family tree necklace for my wife to give to her for her birthday. Was told it would be 6 to 8 weeks. After 9 weeks pass I start calling. Was told three times I would get a call back. Never did. I go into the Keizer, OR Fred Meyers and the manager finally looks into it and the company making the necklace sent it to the wrong Fred Meyers and they just sent it back so the company that made the piece stated they would upgrade the gold for the mistake and was told by the manager of Keizer Fred Meyer jeweler that they rushed the order. I was refunded and was told they were going take care of the charge and would call me when it arrived it would be 2 to 3 weeks... 4 weeks later I go in. Was given a lot of excuses and was told the necklace was going to take 6 to 8 weeks.

Finally the necklace arrives so I go in to be told I need to pay $170 by the assistant manage I let her know the manager had told me they where taking care of the cost me being a long time customer and all the problems assistant tells me she can give me 10% off but the manager wasn't there so I tell her to talk to the manager and get back to me 2 days later I call and still no answer from manager. The next day I get a voicemail stating the best they can do for me is the 10%. I told her to keep the necklace and I will never buy anything from this company again. I was told by the woman there that they don’t do gift exchanges and my only option for the gift I received would be to refund the card it was purchased with. She had an attitude when I pushed back and simply stated she doesn’t make the rules. She doesn’t know the rules. Another employee stepped in and said I could exchange it. I looked up their gift policy and the website states I can receive a gift card. These employees need better training. 12/26 at 5:30. Corey was really helpful. Fairly annoying when half the items have price tags displayed. I'm not a person that wants to sit there and ask the price on every single item that interests me. I can quickly rule out anything that is out of my price range and focus on items I like in my price range. Hopefully they change that...
