Salem Stadium — Attraction in Salem

We have been to the stadium for several events. Football is of course fantastic under the lights, and the turf makes a wonderful surface so that the field is still solid enough to march on for the band or bands in competition. The spectators have a great view due to the seating. I prefer to bring a blanket or cushion- the concrete has metal bleacher seating on top which is colder in the fall/winter! The concession stands are centrally located and have been run by very friendly attendants.

The only issue I've ever had here was when the Salem red socks were having a game during the football game. It wasn't really an issue- more of an inconvenience. The parking gets a little overwhelming, but there are still enough parking spaces as long as you don't mind a few extra steps...
