From scratched and damaged to showroom perfect! While on travel, my car was delivered from Tesla with scratches from end to end. Tesla's attempt at a fix was an amateurish buffing job that cut a four-foot long series of waves into the finish. Even then, most of the scratches remained. I went to Tint World for them to apply paint protection film and ceramic shield. I did not have a huge hopes they would be able to address so many issues, only that they might improve things a bit. When I picked up my car a week later, I was blown away! The car was gleaming perfection. Everything had been fixed, and the finish was beyond all expectation. Because of the damage to my car from day one, I never experienced the “new car joy”. That changed the day I drove home from Tint World. You can see the result in the attached photo. Amazingly, it looks mirror polished, even after having been rained on twice. That is the water-shedding magic of ceramic shield. There is such a high shine, you can even see the surface of the driveway reflected. Needless to say, I am delighted. The owner even proactively scheduled a follow-up visit to address any bubbles or lift-lines which may appear. I would definitely recommend them to anyone considering paint protection film.

I chose this shop based on price and reviews. Before scheduling, I emphasized that I wanted all glass tinted with Xpel prime XR plus and I was told “yes.” When I arrived, I again reviewed what we had discussed over text, specifically “all glass,” and Xpel prime XR plus. I was reassured and confirmed. When I picked up the car, I paid more than the agreed quote but when they brought it out, I saw that only part of the glass was tinted. Instead of honoring the agreement, they offered to add two smaller pieces as a workaround, but I had made it clear from the start that I wanted one-piece tint. They could not deliver what was originally promised, despite multiple confirmations. I asked for a refund, I was denied and forced to reschedule for a later date to fix their mistake. To make things worse, when I got home, I tested the tint with a meter and discovered they did not use Xpel Prime XR plus film as agreed. If Xpel ceramics was used the IRR should show close to around 97% but Instead shows a much lower quality, they bait-and-switched me with a cheaper non ceramic film to maximize their profit. Also the more I look at the windows the more imperfections and bad cuts I find. This was misleading, unprofessional, and dishonest.

Can’t say I’d recommend tint world Salem. Wish ZERO stars was an option. A simple tint install (2hr job) turned into a problem I’ve been dealing with for 5months(1 trim piece was backordered in Japan) and just barely resolved a couple weeks ago. 5 pieces of trim damaged, tint film peeling up and bubbling…I will say that tint world paid to replace all the trim but it wasn’t pleasant. I am taking the car elsewhere to have film removed and reapplied properly. As others have said you’ve been warned don’t use this tint world. The ethical practices out of this shop are questionable.…Good luck. Btw their “I’m sorry for a bad tint job” is very cut and paste.

This way my first visit to Tint World in Salem NH. The building was slightly recessed from the road, but visible. Brought in my Dodge Challenger to have the windows all tinted in compliance with NH RSA's (ie. legal limits 70/35). Reception was happy and welcoming and got me in slightly ahead of schedule. We went over various tint options, viewed samples, and they were helpful with selection. Office area had some sections under reconstruction, but that had no impact on the work being done to the vehicle. There was plenty of seating. They brought my vehicle into the bay and all work was completed within an hour (on my lunchbreak). They explained that windows need to stay closed for several days after to let the film adhere properly and prevent streaking or movement. They gave me stickers to cover the window buttons on the interior so no one in my family would accidentally forget and attempt to press them a couple days later. Also told me the proper cleaner to use on the film after to prevent any issues or damage. Gave me a receipt indicating all work done. Most importantly the vehicle looked great! No peeling, bubbles, or any other issues with the tint. It was put on well, and quality ceramic tint with lifetime warranty. There is good and bad reviews on the internet, and I can only go by my experience with tint, which was excellent and pleasant. Work was done well, quality product, and on time. Vehicle looks great, no issues. Very happy and...

Guys stay away from this basement operation, I don't know how they stay in business at such Prime real estate..these guys are complete hacks...gave them a $700 headunit to install. They totally scratched up the face of the radio didn't use the supplied harness I gave them, instead they cut into the factory harness and use electrical tape to make the connection. They also hacked up my My Dash trim, its all wobbly, lines don't line up, instrument cluster all lose, rear camera doesn't work, a total disaster. This is totally amateur hour I could have done this job myself. Guy stick to tinting and detailing that's about all you possibly are good at.

: respond to owner reply

It was an open box because I opened it.. the unit was brand new. He just didn't scratch up the screen he also scratched up the bezel and he apologized for it so please do not insinuate that the scratches were already there.

"Poke and wrap" still means you're cutting through the factory wires.

The harness I Supply had nothing to do with the rear camera and why it wasn't it working. I went in myself and undid his mistakes. He pluged the RCA into video in and not rear camera in where should have been. He also forgot to "poke and wrap" the blue wire on the antenna which explain why I wasn't getting any signal. He also left three screws missing which explain the looseness of the dash trim. And the radio had grease prints all over it.

No thanks I will never bring my car...

Upon reviewing my profile, you will notice that the majority of my reviews are positive. However, my recent experience with Tint World in arranging to tint my vehicle windows and apply a full wrap was extremely disappointing. Initially, I was provided incorrect information regarding the suitable tint for my car's glass, which was not compatible with the glass in my vehicle.

I'd absolutely love to see a photo of the car the claim to have done.

Given that the wrap for my Tesla cost $4,200 and necessitated a special film compatible with Tesla's paint, I had specific inquiries before entrusting my brand-new Polestar 2 LR High Performance European Edition, a vehicle valued at over $150,000, to their care. Naturally, I sought reassurance and clarity.

Upon calling today to confirm my appointment and clarify some conflicting information about the appropriate wrap film for my car, the owner dismissively responded, "it's just a car, we don't have time for your questions." Furthermore, he falsely claimed to have worked on my exact model several times before, which I know to be untrue since mine is the only one in this area. Additionally, the recommended wrap would have caused irreparable damage to the specialized paint of my Polestar, akin to that of a Tesla.

In conclusion, I have rescheduled with a different company and strongly advise against engaging with Tint World based on my...
