This way my first visit to Tint World in Salem NH. The building was slightly recessed from the road, but visible. Brought in my Dodge Challenger to have the windows all tinted in compliance with NH RSA's (ie. legal limits 70/35). Reception was happy and welcoming and got me in slightly ahead of schedule. We went over various tint options, viewed samples, and they were helpful with selection. Office area had some sections under reconstruction, but that had no impact on the work being done to the vehicle. There was plenty of seating. They brought my vehicle into the bay and all work was completed within an hour (on my lunchbreak). They explained that windows need to stay closed for several days after to let the film adhere properly and prevent streaking or movement. They gave me stickers to cover the window buttons on the interior so no one in my family would accidentally forget and attempt to press them a couple days later. Also told me the proper cleaner to use on the film after to prevent any issues or damage. Gave me a receipt indicating all work done. Most importantly the vehicle looked great! No peeling, bubbles, or any other issues with the tint. It was put on well, and quality ceramic tint with lifetime warranty. There is good and bad reviews on the internet, and I can only go by my experience with tint, which was excellent and pleasant. Work was done well, quality product, and on time. Vehicle looks great, no issues. Very happy and...
Read moreGuys stay away from this basement operation, I don't know how they stay in business at such Prime real estate..these guys are complete hacks...gave them a $700 headunit to install. They totally scratched up the face of the radio didn't use the supplied harness I gave them, instead they cut into the factory harness and use electrical tape to make the connection. They also hacked up my My Dash trim, its all wobbly, lines don't line up, instrument cluster all lose, rear camera doesn't work, a total disaster. This is totally amateur hour I could have done this job myself. Guy stick to tinting and detailing that's about all you possibly are good at.
: respond to owner reply
It was an open box because I opened it.. the unit was brand new. He just didn't scratch up the screen he also scratched up the bezel and he apologized for it so please do not insinuate that the scratches were already there.
"Poke and wrap" still means you're cutting through the factory wires.
The harness I Supply had nothing to do with the rear camera and why it wasn't it working. I went in myself and undid his mistakes. He pluged the RCA into video in and not rear camera in where should have been. He also forgot to "poke and wrap" the blue wire on the antenna which explain why I wasn't getting any signal. He also left three screws missing which explain the looseness of the dash trim. And the radio had grease prints all over it.
No thanks I will never bring my car...
Read moreUpon reviewing my profile, you will notice that the majority of my reviews are positive. However, my recent experience with Tint World in arranging to tint my vehicle windows and apply a full wrap was extremely disappointing. Initially, I was provided incorrect information regarding the suitable tint for my car's glass, which was not compatible with the glass in my vehicle.
I'd absolutely love to see a photo of the car the claim to have done.
Given that the wrap for my Tesla cost $4,200 and necessitated a special film compatible with Tesla's paint, I had specific inquiries before entrusting my brand-new Polestar 2 LR High Performance European Edition, a vehicle valued at over $150,000, to their care. Naturally, I sought reassurance and clarity.
Upon calling today to confirm my appointment and clarify some conflicting information about the appropriate wrap film for my car, the owner dismissively responded, "it's just a car, we don't have time for your questions." Furthermore, he falsely claimed to have worked on my exact model several times before, which I know to be untrue since mine is the only one in this area. Additionally, the recommended wrap would have caused irreparable damage to the specialized paint of my Polestar, akin to that of a Tesla.
In conclusion, I have rescheduled with a different company and strongly advise against engaging with Tint World based on my...
