Salem House of Pizza — Restaurant in Salem

Pizza was very good. But that's about it. The greek "salad" was a dish full of lettuce. It had exactly 2 thin rings of onion, 2 slices of cucumber and 2 cherry tomatoes thrown on top with some grated feta. Not really what one can call a greek salad. We also ordered spaghetti with meat sauce, extra butter on the noodles and parmesan on the side. We got noodles, period. No sauce, fairly dry with no butter melted into them and no parmesan. The butter and parmesan were listed on the delivery note. When I called I was told they don't have meat sauce. They have marinara with meatballs, but no meat sauce? So why not just deliver it like that instead of just dry noodles? He also said they don't have parmesan. What pizza and pasta restaurant does not have parmesan? Why put it on the delivery note if you don't have it? Seriously, I have NEVER seen any Italian restaurant that didn't have an abundance of parmesan. Other than the pizza, a total waste of money. But, to be fair, the pizza...

If I could do a negative rate I would. We ordered from my office. We have menus that match the menu they have on their website. The Turkey Club is listed at $7.50 but when we got the receipt I was charged $9.50 (as well as everyone else's meal being more expensive...but not quite as high as mine). I called and talked to the manager who said "THE MENU ONLINE AND THE MENU I HAVE ARE THE OLD PRICES. IN THE NEW SYSTEM (WHICH HE CLAIMS HAS BEEN CHANGED FOR MONTHS) THE TURKEY CLUB IS $9.50 AND THERE IS NOTHING THAT I CAN DO TO UPDATE THE MENUS UNTIL THE OWNER GETS BACK AND HE SAID HE COULD NOT REFUND ME THE $2 DIFFERENCE". What a horrible business practice! I WILL NEVER PERSONALLY ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN THE BUNCH...

Ordered from here for the first time yesterday. The guy on the phone was very pleasant to talk to. My order consisted of one large cheese pizza, one large buffalo chicken pizza and one large order of fries. I will start out by saying that the large cheese pizza was an absolute mess. There was no sauce on it, it was burnt on the bottom and it was hard to chew. The fries were mediocre steak fries with regular ones mixed in. The one and only silver lining to this was the buffalo chicken pizza as it was fairly decent. It was light and had good flavor to it. That is the sole reason why I didn’t give this place 1 star.
