So let me try to explain my experience with this casino. So I go in, really just to waist some time. I'm not a BIG gambler so to speak. I find a machine and began playing and everything was well. After a couple hours I was up a few hundred or so. I noticed one of the female employees standing a distance behind me but definitely close enough she could see the screen. I hit another big win that paid out a couple hundred. And I noticed her walk away afterwards. Well, just a few minutes later I hit another big win. Now understand the particular machine I was playing takes a while to go through the free spins when you win the free spins. So I'm sitting watching my money add up when right in the middle of my rally the machine freezes. On the screen in read " call an attendant". So I done just that. She opened a machine beside mine after explaining they were connected. She then hooked some little device up to it and done some button pushing. About ten minutes later the machine beside me went through a reset process and finally my machine resumed where it left off but finished it's rally shortly afterwards. After that incident that machine NEVER hit any of the bonuses again. I put about 300 back in it and I could hardly win the total of my bet back every once in awhile. And not just my machine changed in this manner. The one she opened and the one next to it also dried up. They were all 3 the same game. Later I was talking to a local man and his wife who were there to listen to the band. He said they would never gamble there and that stuff like that is typical at this establishment because the gaming commission is made up of all native Americans just like all the Cherokee casinos. So there is actually no one to keep them from doing whatever they want. He then brought something to my attention that i hadn't really noticed. He said look around, its Saturday night and this place ain't even half full. He explained, the reason was because all the locals know better than to gamble there. He also added, that if it wasn't for the band and the bar that there would even be less people there. And sure enough, after the band quite around midnight there was hardly anyone left. So I personally won't be back. You can draw your on conclusion. Just sharing my...
Read moreDon't ever stop at any of these Cherokee "Casinos" no matter how tempted you are. They are not required to pay back anything..I've been to tribal casinos in California and all the desert locations like Kickapoo, Navajos and the were all very nice and welcoming! Not only were the staff much more friendly but also their machines would pay out alot better. They all know how to bring back repeat customers and keep them happy. The smallest casino I've ever been to in Northern California was in a small town called Laytonville in Mendocino county and was by far the most fun and best paying tribal casino I've been to. Everyday they would match their players $10 every single day. You spend $10 they match you $10 and I can't tell you how many times I've walked out with an extra $100 or $200 with their match ten. Real tribal casinos are fun..but Cherokee is definitely not one of them... regardless of their location. Don't waste time or money to these...
Read moreThis was my 5th visit to this casino. I never enter expecting to win, only to enjoy some entertainment, for a set amount of money. My idea of a good time is to put $100 in a machine, have a few beers, and see how long it lasts! On the four previous visits( All Weekdays) I would on average enjoy 4- 5 hours on a 40 cent a bet( my only betting, and always on the same machine for entire visit) and 3-4 beers...... Many people warned me about not going in on weekends, they said the odds were changed to maximise the casinos take on the buisser days? Was on vacation, felt like going on a Saturday, and was STUNED..... Same machine, same bet, $80 out the window in less than 1 1/2 hours? Dident even finish beer1? Over 250 spins on game, and not ONE free spin bonus ever awarded? Machines odds had defiantly been adjusted, this is the only game I'd ever played in the Casino...... Handed in my "Rewards" card, and said never again. By by Sallisaw...
