The staff is excellent! The day shift waitress is absolutely on point when it comes to getting people their drinks and food. She comes around to all the machines and actually asks if you need anything. The games on the other hand, they definitely lack that WOW factor that most casinos have. They don't pay very well, at all. The players club could use a bump in the free play they give as well. But if you're in Sallisaw and don't mind losing some money, definitely go to Cherokee...

We like the smaller casinos like this one. I didn't really find a machine I liked but we had fun losing our money anyway. Their daily lunch special was very reasonably priced and the serving was large. We couldn't eat it all and hated not bringing the leftovers home but we weren't finished playing and it was too hot outside to leave food in the car. I'll be better prepared for...

The Cherokee casino at Sallisaw is like 1000% better than the Roland casino... You can relax and enjoy yourself. The staff is courteous, friendly and professional. Whereas The Roland casino staff always act like they are trying to find some reason to harass you. Also at Roland casino, the staff seems more interested in running around trying to find a few pennies...
