Saw Madeleine Rupert for a med check. An absolutely terrible experience. She claims to be an expert on Migraines however she claimed my migraines were rebound headaches. She never even reviewed my medical history and discounted years and years of collaboration between neurologists, neuro opthalmologists, neuro speech therapists, vision therapy doctors, balance therapy doctors, and after experiencing 6 traumatic brain injuries. Also, she prescribed medication for high blood pressure claiming in one visit that I had high blood pressure. I have never had high blood pressure. I have always had dangerously low blood pressure. Its important before prescribing new medication that a clinician consider a patient history and baseline. Also, if I don't feel comfortable taking medicine I should be able to consent or decline. The new meds she prescribed caused me to have fainting spells. She failed to send in a refill for nausea meds which I take for vertigo and migraines. When I called to find out what happened instead of her owning it she claimed she didn't feel comfortable giving it to me, and without reviewing my medical charts and reviewing why other doctors prescribed it in my treatment plan. This caused me absolutely a chaos of harm and caused my health to spiral out of control. Instead of communicating with me directly she relays the message through a receptionist who is not medically trained. Then, the final disaster was when she scheduled a gastroenterologist procedure without telling me and so I started receiving harassing calls from a medical clinic to schedule a procedure which Madeleine said I needed to address my chronic nausea. I didn't know why they were calling me. I wasn't nauseous due to stomach issues. My nausea was due to vertigo and migraines. When I finally called this clinic back, they refused to tell my why they were calling unless I gave them my birthdate and other private protected personal information. All this choas and confusion over poor communication, poor understanding of patients issues, and incompetence by an overly arrogant medical provider who believes she is superior to the patient, other clinician's who have helped her patient and who also fails to listen and even read a patients medical chart. Madeleine only has 2 years practicing experience as an NP. Her arrogance and lack of competence, poor communication, disinterest in patient collaboration and superiority complex makes her a bad fit for me. No medical provider should prescribe or diagnose anything without listening to a patient and reviewing medical records. The biggest disappointment and disaster in my lifetime working with a clinician. Her incompetence is overwhelming. Worst experience I have ever had. She also has NO clue how to care for a patient with a brain injury. She is NOT A migraine specialist. Rebound headaches aren't migraines. She is also not a good advocate for women's care or people with disabilities. I see a poor future for Foothill Family Clinic...
Read moreThis will be my very first time ever reviewing anything because I've never felt strong enough emotions about something to leave a review but boy oh boy do I have a review for this clinic, more specifically Dr. Susan Edwards. Susan Edwards was my and my sister's doctors since birth (we are now 24, 22, and 12) and every time I go I have to mentally prepare myself to be treated like I'm stupid. Usually I have to wait about an hour, if not more between the time I'm weighed and measured with the nurse and the time I see Dr. Edwards. I went today and shocker, I had to wait a little over an hour to see her and she acted as though she was so put out by me being there. She scoffed, when I told her that my chunky self works out (ya, I'm definitely chunky but I also eat better than most people I know and work out 3-5 times a week. I just like bread!) and is always attempted to blame everything on my weight. She didn't believe me when I tell her I don't drink or smoke, she asked me three or four times before she finally believed me. Which was infuriating!!
She is aggressive when examining your body and has no problem pulling and pushing on you without any warning. I also had my husband come in the exam room who she failed to acknowledge. At all. She did not know who he was because she didn't introduce herself and he couldn't get a word in. She lifted up my top WITHOUT NOTICE (I wasn't wearing a bra) and exposed me to him. Yes, granted he is my husband but she didn't know that. He very well could have been a friend and REGARDLESS you need to be communicating what you're doing, not just lifting tips and bottoms without any consent.
In the end she said everything could be solved with working out, which as I mentioned before I already do that.
She is rude, inconsiderate, condescending and she rushes through her appointments even though SHE is the one that is late and she gives attitude if you ask questions. I will NEVER go back to her and I will NEVER recommend anyone to go her. However, Dr. Jerry Kelly who works there is amazing, kind, and funny. He's...
Read moreI’ve been a patient of Dr. Eborn at Foothill Family Clinic for nearly a decade, and my overall experience has been persistently disappointing. I’ve often felt dismissed when bringing up legitimate health concerns—fatigue, hair thinning, and a family history of autoimmune disorders were repeatedly brushed off. It took years of insistence before she finally ordered a basic full blood panel. When she did, we discovered I was severely B12 deficient—something that should have been addressed far earlier. The real tipping point, however, came with the clinic’s billing practices. After confirming with both the office and my insurance that a series of B12 injections would be covered, I was blindsided by a $500 bill months later. My insurance told me the claims had been submitted incorrectly using the wrong code. I worked with Erin in billing, who agreed it should have been covered and said they were trying to resolve it. I was told not to worry about the bill while they sorted it out—only to later be told I was responsible for the full amount because “insurance faxed us saying it isn’t covered.” When I asked for a copy of that fax, I got a voicemail saying they couldn’t find it. I followed up, insisted on documentation, and never heard back. After advocating for myself for months, I was abruptly dismissed as a patient by the clinic without notice and sent to collections—seemingly in retaliation for questioning a billing error they made and couldn’t figure out on their end. To be clear: the administrative incompetence at this clinic is alarming, the communication is poor, and the overall patient care—from both the provider and the billing department—has been consistently dismissive and careless. I would strongly advise anyone considering Foothill Family Clinic to look elsewhere. You deserve a provider who listens to you, takes your concerns seriously, and stands by their word—not one who deflects blame and terminates care when held...
