After being a patient for over a year Dr. Ling has been consistent in referring me to other doctors but has done very little to treat me herself. Although I see her almost every 3 months, she has only addressed 1 of my concerns. At first I was excited to find a dr that I thought cared but I soon realized I was wrong. Don't think that you will receive the same time and attention from Dr Ling that you see in the beginning. Don't think that she will be the one treating you or trying to help you because she rather send you to someone else than even try to help you herself. Don't waste your time unless you like seeing a different dr for every health concern. Don't make the same mistake I did.
Updated 3/8/18 - 3 years after no longer seeing Dr Ling I am still dealing with debt collectors. I was told that my account had been closed, this was after I fought the invalid charges, and then today I get another call because I have a “NEW” debt collection for the same debt. When I asked how can this be no one has answers for me or can explain. I asked how do I fight this and make this stop, I was told that the dr has to determine if the services were provided - wait!!!! The doctor that is inaccuratly billing me gets to decide if this is accurate or not?!?!?!? How is that right or fair for me as a patient???? So today I have had enough and Dr Ling has finally beaten me down to just giving up. It just isn’t worth it. When I thought this had been resolved, it comes right back. My credit is more important that fighting against services that were not provided by Dr Ling and a medical office/bill collection company that can’t keep things straight and see that this is the samw collection as the one that was just closed. I paid the balance because I am not going to win this battle and now I just hope I finally have complete closure from a horrible experience with Dr Doris Ling. This has been the absolute worse experience! Dr Ling should be ashamed to consider herself someone that...
Read moreThe worst doctor I have ever dealt with. She was very combative and overlooked reason why I went to visit her in the first place. Places fear into patient about insurance saying may not cover service speaking on a topic she is not certain in when she doesn’t even know her own office visit pricing or her own schedule. She states “you were also late today,” when I was speaking about my purpose for visit. First, I was 3minutes late and have no idea what that had to do with any purpose for my visit. She has very bad attitude. I do not recommend this doctor or facility.
Update: 4/01/24 - I visited Dr. Ling as a new patient and here is what my insurance was billed: Total of $774. Her office visit (code 9920325) alone is $299 and my Preventive Service Wellness visit (code 99385) was $475. I recommend you review your claim codes so you get an understanding of why the approach is taken from your physician. The office visit code used for me of 9920325 states New Patient office visit of 30-44 minutes "total time." Now I understand why she took her sweet time doing nothing for me. In my opinion, I believe patient experience should play a factor on the cost of service. This doctor did nothing but waste my time and give me a headache yet she gets paid $774. Although, I am paying almost $500 monthly for my health insurance, if I had to pay a crappy visit like this out of pocket, then I would be furious! Health reform is...
Read moreI have been a patient of Dr Ling's for many years and have always been very pleased with her as my general practitioner and with the office personnel . Dr Ling has many times spent the extra few minutes with me to connect and engage, not to mention her excellent care over the years. However this last visit for my physical seemed rushed, and a bit uncoordinated. After consultation and a general exam by Dr Ling, there was an additional test performed, blood drawn, and then a checkout at the front desk with no follow up visit prescribed. I did receive a call the next day that Dr Ling had referred me to a specialist, which she did discuss with me personally during our initial consultation, then another follow up call from the office that additional lab tests were needed. I ended up feeling that the visit was incomplete whether it be my misunderstanding to stay and have a closing visit with Dr. Ling or if it was Dr Ling's associates that failed to ask me to stay to finish the appointment with closing remarks from Dr.Ling. When the last lab test was done there was no one in the area to ask, so I just went out front to the front desk and confirmed no follow up visit was noted. Although I was disappointed in this appointment and the coordination, I will most definitely continue to use Dr. Ling as my personal physician because for the many years I have been in her care this is the first time I have had a less than...
