Extra Space Storage — Attraction in San Antonio

DeVondra Brooks was such a great help, very friendly and proactive. I was so stressed out about finding a affordable storage unit, but as soon as DeVondra contacted me with a available unit at a good rate, I was relieved. Once I arrived at the storage location, She explained the whole process an d helped me get the bets sized unit for me needs. The property was very secure with tons of cameras and a keypad access gate. DeVondra took me in her golfcart to show me the climate controlled unit and even provided a small cart to help transfer my belongings from the truck outside to my unit inside the storage building. Hopefully LIfe Storage Management can provide this location with more of the carts to better serve its customers. It would have taken me 3 times as long to unload my stuff and move it to my unit without the cart. I had a couple questions that DeVondra had to ask her supervisor for my details and she quickly called me back with all the answers. This was not the closest LIfe Storage to my house, but I am sure glad my money is going to good use at the 6110 Walzem location. I would have given 6 stars if there were 6 to give. Highly recommended and I will tell everyone I meet who is looking for a clean, well maintained, and affordable...

It is with pleasure I take the time to write a review specifically for the employee named Niambi. She was very polite and courteous. She was so diligent with detail, providing me the best customer service possible. She was very patient and took the time to listen to my needs and walk me out to the unit to show me the space. Thus far the best experience renting a storage unit. Previous experiences with other storage facilities have not been the best with pressure and rudeness not upholding customer service. Niambi has set the bar for professionalism when it comes to managing a storage facility. I look forward to working with her specifically.

On another note as far as store policies, I don’t necessarily agree with the application fee, especially that I am built my own rental profile and seeing the space as it’s already rent ready. Additionally, not being able to remove the lock fee when I own locks that meet the companies specific requirements It’s frustrating I came into the store anyways. Conveniently...

I went here to put my things into storage there was a real sketchy guy at the door and then proceeded to call the store to tell them I was there I talked to a woman called Jane and she told me she was going to be up there in a minute I was fine with that but she transferred me over to corporate and I talked to corporate about what happened after few minutes she came to the door and told me she would come out in a few minutes again I was fine with that then she comes to my car and says did you call corporate on me and I told her no that she had transferred me to corporate and I just talked to them about what happened after that she perceived to be rude to me the entire time she gave me the tour for the storage she talked down to me and she belittled me and she kept making remarks in a not so subtle way she didn't even try and work with me I got the storage but it was a fight the whole time I never want to work with this...
