Holy Family Parish Church — Attraction in San Antonio

I repeat do not have your party here at their event hall ! Ricardo the manager or whatever he is , he runs the concession stand and is very very rude , disrespectful, and very hateful person ! We were trying to have a wonderful party at their event hall but sadly Ricardo was ruining everyone’s time. You pay so much money to have your party here just for him to be disrespectful to the clients and guest. He first did not let the caters inside the building , they had to serve food outside in 100 degree weather. Guest were arriving still before 7 mind you he did not let anyone form a line so the ladies had to make and serve the plates. Finally 10 min before 7 guest decided to make a line to get food , so as we are waiting cause there is about 30 guest that were in the building before 7 without food. Exactly at 7 he told the line that they “ran” out of food. Then he changed his statement cause he lied which is not very catholic like of him to lie in gods house. He then stated that it’s 7 no more food is to be served , that it’s in the contract that food is suppose to done at 7 but we were waiting the whole time for food. Then he told the caters they were allowed to serve food outside still but that guest had to eat the food outside in 100 degree weather. The officers working the party stated they can not allow people to eat outside because of how hot it was and there was kids and elderly , because mind you it was a 65th birthday party, so he felt bad and called the supervisor. The supervisor allowed us to eat inside but as soon as Ricardo found out he was mad and made a scene. Laura , Ricky and Ricardo all run the concession stand and simply found this situation funny! So much more happened and I wish I could do a voice over on here. But it is not worth having ur party here ! Please do not have your party here! I would love if one of the church staff to reach out to me ! As well as I will call...

I just called the church to try and obtain a checklist of items needed in order to baptize my nephew. I spoke with Veronica and she was extremely rude and inconsiderate from the get go. She was talking over me the whole time, I could not get a single word in, and she placed me on hold while I was in the middle of asking a question. When she came back on the line she continued to talk over me and when I asked her to please allow me to finish my questions, she actually SLAMMED the phone down and hung up on me. WOW! Literally SLAMMED the phone. Not sure how she even has a job at all, yet alone a CHURCH for crying out loud. She needs to spend some time in the actual church and pray. I left a message for the office manager who also happens to be the priest. I hope he actually calls me back. Bless his heart for having to be around such an unpleasant, rude, miserable person...

The actual church is ok.. But I DO NOT recommend renting the hall!.. The office staff is very very rude from the get go..next the "Manager" for the hall is ghetto and rude! Very unprofessional, especially for a church setting.. She actually stole from our candy table which was meant for Our guests.. Also she helped her self to our food.. Which I wouldn't have mind at all.. But at least ask.. Geeze... Next she starting cleaning up at 11pm when we were scheduled till 12 pm AND she stored away our center pieces, which were actual coke bottles. Not to mention she was rude to our guests.. This to me is very unprofessional.. We will not be recommending this...
