I don’t usually go out of my way to write reviews but this case is an exception because the gentlemen in question are worthy of the praise.
Michael was the first person I had contact with, after I reach out from a car gurus ad for a truck. Though young, he’s a driven man and excelled at providing perfect customer service through timely returned calls, general questions answered, and had a considerate attitude toward my situation and was respectful of my time and schedule. I wouldn’t have made it over to San Antonio from Houston to look at the vehicle without him following up with me about the vehicles availability multiple times.
Marvin was the man who first greeted me upon arrival and picked up right where Michael left off with the quality of service. He already knew why I was there and what I was after; the seamless transition between helpful employees was refreshing. In less than 45 minutes, Marvin took down the details of my trade in vehicle for immediate review/approval, had the truck ready for my personal inspection of its quality, and accompanied a full test drive that met my satisfaction fully. This exceeded my expectations completely bc it allowed for me to arrive on time for an appointment across town that I was attempting to work around, on a time crunch. Upon my return, Marvin and I quickly worked through the details and the following negotiation over price and trade in value left me with the sense that they had once again gone above and beyond to help me achieve the deal I felt was fair for that truck. It was a good business and I was happy to shake one it. For a small office, they were able to have all papers and details taken care of for the trade in, purchase of the vehicle, switching over insurance, and financing through a partnered bank all done that day and I drove off the lot with my new truck before the afternoon was finished. Matt was the one to walk me through the financial paperwork, which most people know can be a confusing mess if pressured to fill out quickly. I personally have bought a few cars and had a base familiarity with the forms but I appreciate how Matt repeatedly stated the breakdown of the numbers multiple times and highlighted how what we had agreed upon led to the numbers adding up the way they did. Transparency and clarity are worth more than gold at this step and Matt displayed both of those qualities like a true professional.
In conclusion, if Empire Auto of San Antonio continues the trend of hiring, training, and employing men of the same caliber as Michael, Marvin, and Matt, you’ll be as pleased as I am about your experience...
Read moreI waited couple of days having the vehicle I purchased and it still runs like a dream. I took it to a shop and there was just a crack in my coolant reservoir and it was an easy fix. Everything else was top condition. The process of getting my vehicle was so simple. Right away Marvin greeted me and asked me what I was looking for. He wasn’t pushy or trying to make a sale, but just listen. He was very considerate of my concerns and worry about being a first time buyer I was afraid I wouldn’t be approved, but Marvin really put an effort to settle all my concerns, and treat me with dignity, and got me into the vehicle that I actually really wanted. The process was fairly quick. Marvin communicated with me through everything and made sure I understood everything and help me get the best deal. The financial guy was very considerate they didn’t ring my credit up They actually had knowledge of which banks they wanted to take my loan to get me approved. The other salesman was super kind kept checking on me and giving my daughter snacks. Afterwards, I got to take my truck home that night. They also got me introduced to Insurance Lady. She’s amazing and got me full coverage that night for a really great price, so I could take my truck home. They stayed after hours for me and then even after I bought the vehicle they stayed in full contact with me, checked on me And made sure that my loan finalized and even through that process they stayed in full contact with me right away, even though they were busy I absolutely love this Dealership and will be back again and I absolutely love...

One of the gentlemen there walked right over to the auto store, purchased the brake light bulb and told me to come back so they could repair the front right panel signal light. Every time i call they tell me that they will call back on Monday after they speak with their mechanic. After 2 or 3 months of Mondays and showing up they tell me that i broke the light and that it passes inspection with a non functional indicator that is needed for the car. Now today after weeks and months they throw in the “AS IS” term. I purchased this car #1 because its a beautiful car and #2 it was affordable and #3 the promise to repair. Now yet again with no good reason i have been refused and will now take action. Legally “Turn signal lamps are required on those vehicles manufactured with a right-hand (steering wheel) drive, regardless of model year. lamps. practicable and, when signalling, shall emit a white or amber light or any shade of light between...
