Jack White Park Trailhead — Attraction in San Antonio

Parking in the shade! Access to the Salado Creek Trail and primitive facilities (porta potty). Out of the way trailhead. Its is pretty out of the way from traffic or passerby so be careful as always when leaving your car here. However, it is also near the parking for the park employees so there is some benefit to that. The trail head has good fountains and a small bike pump should you need it. This trailhead has a shady section to park. It’s also a park police substation so there’s always a police vehicle around. This is the trailhead that picks up after the Tobin trail break at the highway. It has a short half mile trail then you cross two streets and go under a bridge to connect with the rest of the long greenway trail, 10 miles. It’s a great start for a long run or bike ride. And...
