Awesome customer service! I didn’t see online where they charge a deposit fee but they do. Its $50 and you get it back once you check out.We check for bedbugs then move in all our stuff. The room did not look as… lively as they did in the photos. The place was a little sketchy looking and was not as clean as it was portrayed in the photos. Everything you see in the photos comes with the room except there was no carpet in our room (just hardwood floors), a random photo frame on the wall that looked just as sad as the room, and a beat up lamp that wasn’t even plugged in. Now that I think about it I should have looked behind the frame to see what it was hiding. But I didn’t think anything about it. For the price we were paying I could handle a little dirt, dust, and low key murder vibes. Because you get what you pay for right? Well, my friend and I start preparing for the concert we were attending and there were concerns there as well. The bathroom had a random hole in the ceiling. We had a discussion on why that might be there with the main concern of my friend being that a camera was there to spy on people. We were too scared to check it really because who knew and honestly at this point we’re thinking “ignorance is bliss”. The shower and sink were clean but the soap they had seemed super cheap and felt like we couldn’t ever wash it off. Luckily I had brought my big bottle of body soap with me so we were able to wash it off with that. But then when we used the towels after a shower or washing our hands there felt like there was a layer of film all over us. It was gross and we felt gross. My will to be optimistic was beginning to dwindle as well as my friend’s. It didn’t help that when I sat on the bed, after getting out of the shower, my feet were completely filthy walking from the bathroom to the bed. While I was debating on telling my friend about my feet she yells that there is a bug and we see at least a quarter sized creepy crawler crawling straight for the bed closest to the bathroom. We kill it and look in horror as it looks like a huge bedbug. Though in all honesty we have only seen pictures of bedbugs and the infestations they make but not of one so large so we weren’t sure what to think of it. To be safe and make sure we had not been bamboozled, we recheck the beds but lift them all the way up to check the whole mattress for them. The one near the front door is all good. Then we lift up the one next to the bathroom and there looks to be blood all underneath. Not like a girl fell asleep and was unexpectedly visited by her Aunt Flow blood but like someone had been stabbed in the abdomen and left to die a slow and violent death blood. We drop the mattress, repack our stuff, and throw it in the car then go to check out. The low key murder vibes instantly went up and we no longer felt safe. I legally don’t know what that stuff was or how it got there but someone knew about it and flipped the mattress. Either way we weren’t going to try and solve the mystery in fear we would be next so we left as fast as we could. The lady at the front desk was confused but understanding and super nice about the whole thing. She checked us out and was able to give back the $50 deposit. She could not refund us for the room because that was in the power of the manager. The manager was not in but would be on Monday. She asked I write a description of the situation on the checkout paper they keep for the manager who would contact me on Monday. It has been a week and we still have not heard anything from the manager. I have sent an email but not sure if I’ll get my money back for various reasons – legal and personal. We did not stay there for the night but we were there for maybe an hour before getting freaked out and dispersing. Once again, you get what you pay for. We were not expecting a stay at the Hilton but we were also not planning to feel like we were in an episode of CSI or Scooby-Doo. Splurge a little on a hotel for safety and cleanliness. And please, lift up the WHOLE mattress to check for bed...
Read moreEdit: WE LITERALLY RAN OUT OF THE HOTEL CAUSE WE FELT LIKE WE WHERE GONNA BE KIDNAPPED BY A SEX TRAFFICKING RING, the door had been kicked in prior upon further inspection the phone didnt work not even to call the office and all the face plates could be moved to the side easily , and after we got in our uber we noticed they placed us away from the other "guest" in the middle of a bunch of empty rooms with minimal cars in the parking that had caked up dust on them. NOT SAFE!!!!!!! Do not go to this hotel they will try and !!SCAM!! You. Before we left on our flight to San antonio they took out the money for the room (which is fine) but they took an extra 15 dollars without telling us after we arrived after a long flight at 1:30 am to nobody in the office and the doors locked with a sign that says he was "out on the property" but as soon as we rang the bell a guy came to the window. (Thank God we didnt stand around waiting) the first thing the guy does is tell us about a 50 dollar deposit that nobody told us about not on the website not on the phone when we called to double check our booking and ask questions the night before ,after that he tried to charge us 45 dollars causing our card to decline , our card company later told us he was trying to draw out 46 after we confronted him about that plus the 15 they already took out his reply was "are you sure it was us specifically" to which we obviously replied yes and he then got nervous, the card company told him told him to run the card for 35 dollars but he ended up running it for 40 dollars while we where on the phone with the card company and the card company caught it , then he only gives us one key for 2 people . After all that we get up to the room and its filthy our feet are black from the hard wood floors, holes in the sheets and the mini fridge is leaking horrendously ,and the tap water tastes funny. This place reminded me of the...
Read moreWARNING! READ BEFORE BOOKING!! If I could give a 0 star I would, this place is just as desgusting as the staff, they are some money hungry rude and disrespectful staff. they charge u 100 deposit for every night. I only stayed there because i was traveling with dogs. 1st problem our dogs kept barking and after carefully watching them from the room we saw that the staff would go by our car to taunt them. The last night there they actually came to my room at 2 am to kick me nd my children out because I had dogs although they stayed tied up in my truck, when i pointed out that the dogs never got off the car, they told me i still had to go to the office, it was 2 am at that point they said they were kicking me out because i didnt pay, i showed my receipt, not good enough, i tried showing my email confirmation but owner or mgr was completely rude saying he didnt care about none of that, i showed it came out of my bank nd after making me log in my bank he said he didnt wanna see that, he was only interested in priceline receipt. I showed him priceline receipt he said it was unacceptable, I needed to log on to priceline infront of him or I would have to leave before they called the cops. I proceeded to log on to priceline nd he was still disatisfied, he wanted to hold my phone nd play with the app to make sure it was real. i was furious but was not gonna put my children through that, I let him play with my app so he could b satisfied so i could go back to sleep, he looked mad and rudely told me to go nd the next morning did not give me the 3 deposits of 100 for each night, its been over a month nd have not received my deposits. this was insane, as a habit, I take pics before my stay cause i like being cautious nd thankfully I did cause i will now forward to health dept nd to show future guests u b the judge of their...
