The moment my appointment was set with Discovery Roofing there was a sense of relief coming my way by the professionalism and concern for the repairs/replacement I needed. When we met later that day Jerry shared every possible solution for my home's roof installation. He made multiple visits to my home prior to beginning the job and ensured that all the work was done to code. The installation of a new roof and coordination of referral for added porches helped me obtain a sense of relief and security in my home for years to come. I went with standing seam galvalum metal roof for home and added porches. It looks Awesome! Jerry was very clear about each step to be taken and was available anytime I had additional questions. They also brought a trailer for old roof material and clean up was thorough, done daily, including sweeping with magnet for nails, screws, etc. Once the project was done Jerry visited to make sure I was satisfied with all work completed and submitted necessary forms/paperwork to CPS for rebate with my new engery efficient roof. His advice and detailed invoice lists ratings of roof and I am sending to my insurance for an additional 15% discount with them. I have to say I was impressed by the overall compassion and professionalism by the individuals that work for Discovery Roofing, a standard that should be mirrored by every company that offers consumers professional services. It was a breath of fresh air to be able to count on a company willing to help a consumer every step of the way with utmost care and compassion rarely seen in most companies today. I have been meaning to write a review for the longest time, but have finally gotten around to doing so! Jerry and his team traveled quite the distance to come inspect our roof to see how they could help us after being hit by a very bad wind and hail storm.

My family and I live a couple of hours out of the city; therefore, it has always been a challenge to find good and dependable companies who are willing to come out to the "boonies" to work on our home. Jerry came to our home in a very prompt and timely manner to see our roof. He was very polite and broke down every aspect of what work he would be completing. He also was kind enough to explain what the process would be when it came to billing, etc.

After coming up with a plan and dates that they would be working on our roof, it seemed like the time flew by and the work was completed. Again, Jerry and his workers traveled to and from my home the couple of hours each day to work on my roof, which also included touching up paint where needed. The workers were always very polite and cleaned up after themselves, as well. My roof was completed in under a week!

Jerry further returned to our property several times during and after the roofing was completed just to ensure that the work completed was to our liking, as well as to his own. I wish we could use his company for ALL of our remodeling needs! To this day, about a year later, we still drive up to our home and are in awe of how beautiful our roof looks!

After having several companies come quote the job I decided to go with Discovery Roofing and here are a few reason why:

Reasonable Cost They were very informative and took time to not only explain the different types of roof but showed me a sample and explained ribbed vs. non-ribbed (no additional cost for ribbed) They were able to point out rotted wood and included repair in the original quote Jerry took a look at insurance paperwork and helped get maximum payout Family owned and family ran business They were able to get me a substantial CPS electric rebate (more savings) Additional information: I had Discovery do the roof of my main house, pool house, and water well house. I was so pleased with the work that I gave them 5 additional rent home addresses to see if we could get insurance to replace the roofs (fingers crossed). We did have some rain days in between work and no leaks. After each days work they made sure to finish off the sections to avoid leaks and they also passed the magnet to pickup nails as well as daily clean-up. 5 Stars from me and highly recommended!
