La Carreta Mexican Imports LLC — Attraction in San Antonio

This was my first visit to La Carreta Mexican Imports, and I was immediately wowed. As I pulled in, I was greeted by a colorful sea of beautiful pottery—truly a feast for the eyes! Parking was easy, and as soon as I stepped out of the car, the owner, Ana, warmly greeted me and offered help right away.

She was incredibly attentive—when I asked about pot sizes, she brought out a measuring tape and gave me a clear visual of the dimensions, which made the decision much easier. I browsed both glazed and unglazed pottery and ultimately chose two gorgeous glazed pots with 12” openings for my patio.

Afterward, I took my time walking around the expansive yard and then headed into their charming store. To my surprise, they also carry lovely Mexican dresses, handmade jewelry, and unique home decor.

They have the most beautiful Talavera pottery from Mexico—so colorful and unique, I always find something that catches my eye. Their fiesta wear is super fun too, and everything in the shop just has this happy, vibrant energy.
