This place is absolutely awesome! Free admission! This is a city park and there is a big splash pad with several huge playgrounds. There is a large playground meant for the older kids which is super nice. It is 3 stories tall and has huge slides. My kids are 10 and 11 and they loved having one that was built for them. My 3 year old loved the splash pad and the smaller playgrounds and rope courses. This park is huge, has lots of seating areas, nice restrooms and tons of parking. There is a large grassy hill and from the top, you can watch the planes take off from the base. There is also an exercise area with a zipline that even Grandma enjoyed! I was on vacation visiting family when we visited. I wish our cities at home would provide such nice public parks. Did I mention...

My only complaint; two hoodrats had their dogs with them and they were letting their dogs play in the splash pad. It bothered me because what if the dogs peed or took a dump, this is an area where kids, toddlers and even babies play. I get it that it's hot and you want your dog to cool off, but do that at home, in your own backyard. Also, Pearsall has a wonderful dog park just a few yards down. They could of taken their dogs to play there instead of the splash pad. Anyhow, they are hoodrats and you can't expect much out of them. Overall our day at Pearsall...

It was beautiful and plenty spread out plenty of room to bring out the stroller too and lots of seating spaces for kids to climb or nalgas to rest lol Theres ice cream and snack trucks that set up in the parking lot just as you enter I'm sure those aren't scheduled by the park but what a perfect spot. So thankful for these splashpads that at no cost keep us all cool and let the kids wash off that boredom especially in this heat- If we're gonna have to be outside we are definitely gonna...
