Took my Pitbull and my lab/shep to play. It is so much clearer than I have seen it in a while. But the dog park is not what I expected. The bags and trash are only where the small dogs yard none in the 1 marked for larger dogs. There is no water or shade for small or large dogs to keep cool. As we start to leave the dog park we had to pick several stickers from the paws of our dogs then we noticed that what we thought was grass in the dog park was actually sticker plants and outside the fenced dog park we noticed that there was no stickers plants only in the dog park. As we were leaving just before it got dark a boy about 16-18 years of age kept riding his motor bike around us and he had something in his backpack that looked like a possible BB gun or something worse either way started out looking better but I was not comfortable with what I saw . They cleaned it up put a fence up where no shade or water and are trying to call it a dog park. A fence and a sign saying dog park does not make...
Read moreI really did try to give this place a chance, I live in Fontana and came over here to get some Urban fishing in because it is close by. I brought my little silly terrier with my and the first thing that put me off was the loads of homeless people living at the park, but I thought whatever, most of them are probably good people down on their luck. The first "tent" I walk by, 3 other little dogs run out and attack my dog on his leash, I was able to quickly drop my stuff and pick my dog up, the homeless people apologized do I was like ok whatever, don't walk by the tents. I fish for a little, then move near the bridge and as I'm fishing I keep hearing a lot of yelling, turns out there is a mentally handicap homeless woman screaming at every person that is in her line of vision saying "get out of my face!" Among other profanity. It just completely ruined the vibe, I left after 2 hours of getting there, no fish, no illusion of safety. It's just a terrible place to be. Avoid at all...
