SAFETY HAZARD!!!! This was an awful experience. You book your hall a year out for your child’s quince all for it to end in chaos. Aside from Miriam, the staff here is terrible. There was a fire June 29th on the day of my event and no one notified me or anyone in my family. I literally had to get up and ask the fire fighters what was going on because we were cooking inside the hall. Not at one point did the event coordinator, Daisy keep us in the loop. The waiters stole our cake, we were told 2 bartenders but got one and someone to pass out only beer. The manager has no ability to make executive decisions and the day of the event, the owners were unreachable. I paid over $12k and they refuse to reimburse me for the fiasco. DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE
Below you will see the company trying to justify their poor service. The chairs were not the only service not provided. Not only weee they not moved over but Gaby, the manager, had told us they would be but Daisy the event coordinator of the day refused to do so. We were promised 3 extra hours due to the delay of our original event start time and were only given 45 mins. $2,700 is nothing in comparison to what we paid especially for a company such as this one. I fully understand what the contract says but where in the contract does it say you will keep your clients in the dark and not notify when there is a safety concern?? The building was blocked off and the manager told me the fire got so big the neighbors called it in. Our lives were blatantly put at risk because your staff’s failure to communicate. If the videos show proof of people having a good time as you said, then they will show proof of the theft committed which I’m assuming is why you offered reimbursement for the cake. An entire cake went missing from my sister’s quince, and half of her candied apples which WE MADE, and I’m sure they were stealing from the food we had made as well. The managers are the absolute worst and several guest complained how they mistreated them. They are neglectful with their maintenance on the hall itself and 100% are shady with their money and payment systems. Please do not book your events here unless you want a horrifying experience.
Per my last review, specifically Daisy the event coordinator has the worst customer service. I had family continuously come up and state how she approached them aggressively and unkindly. The security team there was much more kind to us then she was. When my family asked for a secondary fan- after the fact that they had an entire fire in our original hall- she refused and said only a certain amount of fans were provided per event, which I would normally understand, but given they moved us into a second hall with ac not working at first, and NO OTHER EVENT going on, she most definitely could have provided another fan temporarily. They claim to have wanted to be helpful, but instead they call honest google reviews “blackmail” when they were the ones who went about this in such an unprofessional manner. It’s also very saddening to see that these so called “professionals” are trying to point the finger and blame us as if we are overreacting, after my family up and moved an entire event due to your hall’s issues. Read morestaff was amazing very helpful and answered all my questions. Was the cheapest hall I found after calling 8 others. I got so many compliments from guest on how beautiful the hall was. (Angelitos Hall) The security guard and manager at the door were the best very friendly and made sure everything was going well during my whole event. There is a couple of things I didn't like was that they charge for you to go decorate a day before which I dont get never had a hall charge to go decorate a day before I feel that for the price we rent the hall for is enough to let us go decorate a day before. They where very strict on several things so my DJ wasn't able to bring all equipment. The refrigerator they provide is a regular small house refrigerator it could be bigger.
