Horrible experience. I will never come back here. We had tickets to John Mulaney and we were turned away because my son is 17. This was his Christmas present…Merry Christmas. We’ve been to other shows at casinos and there was no problem. Nowhere in the ticketing process was the 21 year old age limit mentioned. The staff was unhelpful and lied to us about the reason for the policy claiming it was a federal law. The box office manager was particularly cold and unwilling to help.
I’ve never been more disappointed in a customer service experience. They are experts at the run around and wordy sentences that mean nothing. No sympathy, no solutions, no help, no smiles, just pass the buck and hope you leave. There was another father/daughter turned away that had traveled from Washington state to watch the show. Cold blooded, no help at all.
The staff knows this policy is a problem and admitted it happens all the time. Please do not relive my experience. Save yourself and go to any other casino in California.
On the bright side, at least we got to sit in a huge line of cars to get into the parking garage, we will always cherish that time we...
Read moreThis was our first visit to the Yaamava Casino! Our group came to the Kumar Sanu and Sadhana Sargam concert. For such a large casino, i was very pleased by the nature of every staff member that we interacted with. It was a very busy evening but from the crossing guards and parking attendants to security and box office, everyone was very polite and helpful. My experience with parking was if you can go to the North parking, you have better availability of handicap parking if you need it. However it will put you on the second floor of the casino, so make note. We were given a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the VIP suite and it made the concert even more amazing. I appreciated that Yaamava made Indian style chickpea curry and samosas along with flatbread, fruits and pastries such as mango mousse and a pistachio cream tart that were gobbled up. Wendy our server was prompt and always making sure we had everything we needed. Although we were tired, the seniors in our group gave a shot at some slot machines, some had success, some did not, but all of us won last night. Thank you April at Yaamava Theatre. You were the star...
Read moreI visited Yaamava for the first time to see Def Leppard on 8/23/2025.
First, the parking, while free, was a nightmare. I was driving around in circles trying to find a spot and kept thinking, how the hell do people find parking here??
Finally after parking, I walked in and found the theater. It's nice and small, which is why the ticket was SO EXPENSIVE!
I paid over $1K for my ticket and I wasn't even in the front. Crazy!!
The visuals and sound in the theater was great, and it was a good concert. But definitely not worth $1K.
I see Def Leppard on every tour, whenever they're in town (or I'll fly to Vegas to see them). I always try to get good seats. However, if I'm going to pay THIS MUCH for a ticket, I better be in the front!
I saw that Green Day, one of my favorite groups, will be at Yaamava on 9/30/25 and floor tickets start at over $3K, with second row tickets at over $5K.
Are the high prices because it's a small venue? Or because they comp so many tickets to the gamblers that they need to make up for it by overcharging concert guests?
Regardless, my first time at Yaamava will...
