Another location which is reasonably near San Francisco that offers free to low-cost activities/meals to seniors. They also offer reasonably inexpensive meals for everyone else.
While the portion may seem somewhat small (after all, they cater to elders who may not consume as many calories than their younger counterparts), they usually offer unlimited seconds, so expect to be filled. At around $5, it is quite an affordable lunch option. They also offer regular activities like dancing, Bingo night, and ping pong.
One of the best, in my opinion, is their offering of bread and baked goods that local bakeries and Costco regularly donate to the Center. The prices are always good, and sometimes are even free, and while they tend to be expiring within the week, if you freeze them, or use them quickly, they are usually safe and good to consume.

They play bingo Thursdays from 6:15pm to about 10:15pm. The staff are very friendly, polite, and helpful with newbies like ourselves! I think this may be a regular spot to meet up weekly.
