San Bruno Senior Center — Attraction in San Bruno

Another location which is reasonably near San Francisco that offers free to low-cost activities/meals to seniors. They also offer reasonably inexpensive meals for everyone else.

While the portion may seem somewhat small (after all, they cater to elders who may not consume as many calories than their younger counterparts), they usually offer unlimited seconds, so expect to be filled. At around $5, it is quite an affordable lunch option. They also offer regular activities like dancing, Bingo night, and ping pong.

One of the best, in my opinion, is their offering of bread and baked goods that local bakeries and Costco regularly donate to the Center. The prices are always good, and sometimes are even free, and while they tend to be expiring within the week, if you freeze them, or use them quickly, they are usually safe and good to consume.

Started playing bingo here with some friends. We're a younger crowd but this hall is nice. It may be a little outdated structural wise but the layout is nice. They play bingo Thursdays from 6:15pm to about 10:15pm. The staff are very friendly, polite, and helpful with newbies like ourselves! I think this may be a regular spot to meet up weekly. They do give out free bread from Safeway and other supermarkets at the end so that's nice...

So glad I discovered the San Bruno Senior Center. Everyone is so friendly and love my Zumba Gold and Fitness classes. Teacher Kathy is incredible. Love it so much and...
