Hard to get to, no bathrooms or anything else, no parking lot and the very limited street parking is hard to find. Inevitably you have to walk up and down this huge hill and schlep your stuff because there isn't even a loading area. Sometimes you have to try to climb around this disgusting sludge and disgusting water that fills up the tunel, which is the only way to get to the beach. For tourists and "out of towners", One Star. This is a "Locals Beach"! In a residential neighborhood and hard to find. No parking. Long walk down, longer walk up steep hill. Tourists and "out of towners" would absolutely hate it! The pier area or San Clemente State Beach are much better options for them
