Jack in the Box — Restaurant in San Clemente

I ordered some food tonight on the jack app I see commercials about, and it said to pick up at 9:26, literally in ten minutes from when I ordered. I throw on shoes hop on the bike and am down there in literally 5 minutes to discover the doors are already locked at 920, and the drive-thru line was packed since it's friday night. The last time this happened, I showed the manager my phone receipt and pointed to the bycycle, and she just came to door and handed me my food, which I didn't know why they wouldn't do, and told me to go wait in drive-thru after smirking at me with the other employees smiling as well. I went to the drive-thru window after they served the car and excused myself from the next car, and yelled through the window. "I'm on a bike, and can they just hand me my food, NOPE!! I asked car at the window if they could grab my food, and they shook their head and said they couldn't help me and to go wait in line laughing as well. I am getting frustrated at the sheer laziness of these employees, and the closing of the lobby before 10 pm on a friday night is really lazy. I waited another few minutes, and an employee literally came to the door without my food and said lobby is closed, and he couldn't help ne amd to go wait in drive-thru. Shocked, I told all of them to keep my food and left as I saw the police pulling up. I flagged him down, and he said he couldn't do anything and to wait in line. I asked on my bike? I told him to hell with the food and thanked him for nothing. I will never be back to this restaurant again and already filed a complaint with the corporation. C'mon it's Jack in the Box... Why the hell am I Google reviewing Jack in the Box? Only b/c if you live in the South side of San Clemente there is literally nothing 15 to 18 miles south of you except untapped natural land. Thank goodness for the military that owns those parts or else it would've been totally developed by investors 20 years ago! So you need to know that EVERYTHING in SC closes early, which is a blessing and a curse. Some places over here have a revolving closing time -8p or 9p, depending on how the employee is feeling. Nothing is open past 9p except the local bars or if you dive deep into mid-town (main strip) in SC you can grab some grinds. But if it's late-late night... You know that time.... The time in which you shouldn't be eating but want to eat anyway... I damn JitB for this!

Well I am not sure if they were closed today for a particular reason or not but I happen to stop by around 12:15 am on 11/03/22 using google showing my wife and I that they were open and we pulled up to the drive through and it was taped off like a crime scene but there were cars in the parking lot but we could not see anyone around the restaurant so I waited for a few minutes to see if someone was there or not but It seemed like no body was there and I double checked to see if I was mistaken that they were a 24/7 restaurant and yes they are , just wondering what happened and why they didn’t post something to let people know that they were closed because we were kinda tired and hungry and had to settle for 7/11fast food which I wasn’t to excited to get but we did anyway and hope that we don’t regret it in the morning if you know what I mean!!.
