One star to on call management(of Camino Ruiz park). I called management to book gazebo for my daughters bday celebrations next to kids play area with four tables. Lady responded saying that is gazebo #2. I went ahead and paid and booked gazebo #2 on call itself. Today after I did all the decorations, another guy came claiming it’s gazebo#1 and he booked it. I called management and she threatened me for calling police rather than apologizing. She claimed the guy booked prior to me and she did informed me. I booked on 29th Jan and other guy booked on 8th Feb so how could he booked prior to me. She had no answer for that so started threatening me again. I would advise not to believe the management on call. Book at your own risk. Ruined my daughter bday celebrations. I am sad.

It is right off the canyon, and you get to see quite a distance to the hills and homes around. There's a long path to walk along, around the baseball fields and area for kids to play. There's bathrooms, plenty of parking, and open fields of grass. The park "closes" at dusk, but if you aren't going to the park with kids, I haven't seen them actually close the gate. The view isn't bad at night either, if you like to see a few houses lit far away, and to think about how little we are in this vast world (without going to the beach or Joshua Tree...
Read moreGreat location, needs a little updating. The ground in park falling apart. But the playground structures are great for young toddlers to older kids. There is a walking trail around park that might be 1/2 a mile? A 1/4 mile? It is themed on indigenous people with native resources which is cool, but also faded. A great overlook towards the West during sunset on the other side of the playground. There are the fields too, but I don't use those and can't imagine there would be enough parking if those were being used for games. Otherwise, parking is fine. I like that you can hike into PQ Canyon. There are trail bells you can use too,...
