Jungle Tea — Restaurant in San Diego

As a Hawaiian-born local, I love my fair share of boba drinks, and appreciate how Boba unites people. Jungle Tea raises expectations; not just on the quality of ingredients, but the cleanliness of the establishment, and friendliness and attentiveness of the staff. Tony and Monica helped inspire our first ever Jungle Tea. We learned that their most popular flavor is their Dragon Fruit Tea with Green Tea & Dragon Fruit Bursting Boba. It is absolutely delicious; very pure flavors with a distinct Dragon Fruit flavor. Flavors are nicely balanced, and the popping Boba is sensational. There is also a seasonal (limited time only) flavor called "The Perfect Rose", perfect for the upcoming Valentines Day. If you like nuanced, delicate floral notes, you need to get it while they have it. Their location is easy to find, and full of parking, and inside is very well decorated with a clear and concise theme. This is my new favorite Boba place, and I hope it becomes yours too. While writing this, my best friend finished the rose tea, and I already want more.

Kung Fu Tea in convoy hasn't been dethroned yet, but if there is a boba shop I personally enjoy and even prefer at times, it is Jungle Tea.

I have had the following drinks, with the exception of Avocado Smoothie (wife's fav) and highly recommend.

I’ve always heard about this place but I’ve never got to try it until now. As a local, it’s definitely a hidden gem and family owned. It’s located in a small plaza. It’s a small store but the decor is really cute and festive. Service from the workers were great. I was given recommendations and they all were very friendly. There is a tv that displays all the drinks since the menu doesn’t have description. I came with a friend and the drinks that we got was the Tiger Series. I had the Crème Brûlée Purple Tiger which was Taro flavored and it was very delicious. My friend ordered the Crème Brûlée Golden Tiger which was Banana milk flavored with Crystal Boba.
