It’s a nice place to visit if you’re around the area, its free just like parking is. I went during the weekend so there were a ton of cars parked and we had to walk just to get there. The view from that spot is nice and calm. Read moreThis is a wonderful and peaceful spot off of the beaten path in San Diego. It is so simple to get to, and usually with plenty of easy and free parking. The plants and grass are well taken care of, so the area is beautiful all of the time. The Bell and the surrounding mote are kept up meticulously. There are multiple cherry blossom trees. Ducks and seagulls like to visit. If you have some extra time, take the sidewalk along the island, so you can view the downtown skyline, and see ships in the harbor.
