Shelter Island Marina — Attraction in San Diego

Rude ,racist and homophobic ,liars and gaslighters !!! Manipulating stories after we got confronted by one of the employees asking if we paid for the sailboat cruise that my friend took us on. I answered saying that we usually pay when we go on a sailboat cruise and just manipulated the story saying that I paid for the cruise I went with my friend the last time which we never did (they don’t like charters) . I call too let them know that we didn’t pay for it and guy tried twisting the story to confuse me so I can fess up that I paid (again I didn’t pay for the trip ) .Then goes on to saying that they assumed we were charter cuz we where outside the gate waiting for my friend too show up… just us, while there was other people there as well waiting and never said anything to them(they where white ) (we where all minorities in my group, until my two other friends showed up). I do recommend recording interactions with them in case they try to talk shit or manipulate the story !!! Way to ruin an adventure with my friends , Asked my friend for all our numbers to call us , but I took the initiative to call them and guy just wouldn’t stop talking over me so I just continued saying “we didn’t pay” over and over again till he shut up and told him to stop...

Shelter Island Marina is such a beautiful place. Great restraunts hotels our great.A great place to shoot photos of marina and family pictures for lots of great memories. Our great experience with our wonderful service at our Best Western Island Palm hotel and marina restraunt food and service and staff at front desk gave us such a warm welcome when we arrived from front desk employee Sophia.Sophia went on and beyond to satisfy our needs. Maria host in restraunt was absoutley very accommodating to best seat to watch Polynesian dancers at pool while we were having our dinner. Over all great place to visit and return to and we will go next year again to great Tennis San Diego open. . . SINCERELY...

We have been docking our power boat at the SIM for about two plus years. Joe and his team have always been customer oriented. They are all very helpful and available. The marina and restrooms are always clean and safe. They are very accommodating when there are special needs and have kept us updated on weather conditions when necessary. I highly recommend this...
