This skatepark is insanely nice and VERY well designed. It's completely huge and has plenty of things to warm up on, learn new tricks, and push yourself on tricks you can already do. The only drawback is that it's so large that if the park gets crowded (which it will be constantly for a few months since it's brand new) it's literally so large that an obstacle will look open but you'll end up cutting someone off or vice versa that's coming from the other direction because you couldn't see them before your approach. I love this park! mostly because of its heritage as being on of San Diego's first competition skate parks, which attracts amateurs, pros and the observers. This area receives an extra special bit of love from residents and the adjoining school. The reason for not giving 5 stars is the occupancy of homeless around the public bathroom.
