Visited here for the first time on Sunday. Read on yelp that they sell pate chaud and wanted to check theirs out. Ever since I discovered pate chaud, also known as "banh pate so", or "meat pies" in English, I've been obsessed with trying them from every place that carries them.
The 3 stars are for the parents chaud. I loved that they were a mini size vs. The original size. I like mini things. Shrug.
I also am a huge banh mi fan so decided to pick up a few sandwiches, since it's been my mission to also track down the perfect banh mi thit nuong. (Grilled/bbq pork)
They have a buy 2 get 1 free deal, so I picked up two number 3 (the special combination) and 1 number 5, the grilled/pork.
Needless to say hubby and I were pretty overwhelmed by the sandwiches. He said it was "meh" and tasted mediocre at best. Mind you he's vietnamese so he's kind of picky. As for me I was super disappointed when I opened up the thit nuong because there was very little meat inside. Maybe two pieces on each side. I wish I had gotten a picture before I ate it but I was too hungry and forgot. The sandwiches were pretty small while the bread was much too thick. So i took out the meat and moved it all onto one half of the sandwich along with measly amount of veggies and just ate that half open faced.
The special combination, #3 was fine on the fillings but tasted really odd. It tasted super garlicky and the pate was really flavorless. Once again the bread was way too thick and not to my liking so I just ate the meat and veggies and a tiny bit of the bread.
I'll pass, also cause the plaza it's in is a little danky looking. If, and that's a big if, I do come back here again, it would only be for the pate chaud. That actually tasted...

Upon entering, we were warmly welcomed by the staff. 😊 Several customers were already inside, enjoying their regular bánh mì.
The shop features 3-4 small tables with stools, creating a cozy seating area. The space was clean and the menus were straightforward, making it easy to place our order. 🪑✨
The service was incredibly friendly. Although the lady suggested her favorite, the fresh fruit tea, it was unfortunately sold out. 🍓🍹 We chose the Thai tea and milk tea with boba instead. She generously added free fried shrimp to our order! 🍤❤️
The Thai tea was good, but the highlight was the milk tea. Unlike the typical black tea base, this one had a fragrant jasmine flavor that was absolutely delightful! 🌸🧋
The bánh mì que is a new variation of the sandwich, being shorter and slimmer. It was packed with a delicious amount of char siu meat and fresh veggies. 🥖🥒🥕
Given the quality of these items, I’d definitely return to try their regular bánh mì when I’m in the area and craving a delicious Vietnamese...

The Thai tea was decent, but the star was the milk tea. Usually milk tea has a black tea base, but this one was fragrantly jasmine and delicious!
The bánh mì que is a new style of sandwich that is shorter and skinnier. It was filled with a good amount of char siu meat and veggies.
Based on the quality of these items, I’d come back to try their regular bánh mì if I was in the area...
