Expansive practice center. The shaded area is the place to go on a hot day. Or head upstairs. Staff was great. Ball basket prices are a little high. Unlike most golf courses, you need to pay to use the chipping and putting areas. That's understandable though. They have a well-stocked pro shop. They also have batting cages.

Love coming here with my daughters to get some practice in at the range. Awesome staff! Always friendly and helpful.

06/11/2025 - My suggestion is save your hard earned $ and stay away. Go buy yourself a PopToss pitching machine... you'll save money & frustration, your batting average will soar and it will pay for itself well beyond the money your gonna waste here! 10/03/2023 - I arrived only to find all the batting closed. There were no signs to explain why. I went inside to ask and was told a belt had broken and the batting cages are down for the next couple of days or more depending on when the new part arrives. Surprisingly, they wouldn't have a spare on hand. This further amplifies the lack of proper maintenance. Guys should get it together and do it right or shut it down completely. Went to the Brickyard batting cages off Morena Blvd as a result, They are a bit more expensive, but I guess you get what you pay for. I'll add that it would have been a good idea had Stadium thought to notify us via email that their cages were closed due to the maintenance problem. But instead, I wasted time and gas.. not a good experience.

08/30/2022- Unfortunately... maintenance is lacking, and the machines are pitching crap again.

Finally, the batting cages seem to have received some attention as the pitching machine now throws more strikes than balls. A big improvement!

Previous review: Batting cages need to be calibrated to toss a strike at least 1 out of every 10 pitches. I really hate wasting time swinging at balls that land in front of the plate. If things ever improve, I will adjust the rating... until then, 2 stars currently is...

Disappointing Experience at an Otherwise Great Range

Hi there,

I’ve been a loyal patron of this driving range since 2002, and I can confidently say it’s one of the best facilities in San Diego. The quality of the range and the overall atmosphere keep me coming back year after year. However, I feel compelled to share my recent experiences that have led me to give this range a one-star review.

Unfortunately, my visits have been consistently marred by the poor customer service I receive from one individual, Coleman Mullin. Despite my efforts to give him the benefit of the doubt—understanding that we all have our off days—I find his negative attitude to be a persistent issue. It’s become increasingly difficult to overlook, and I no longer feel comfortable spending my hard-earned money in an environment where I feel unwelcome.

The pricing at the range is competitive, and I genuinely appreciate the efforts of the other staff members, who are always friendly and accommodating. However, Coleman’s demeanor has significantly affected my overall experience. It’s disheartening because I’ve enjoyed this place for over 20 years, and I’ve always been eager to recommend it to friends and family.

At this point, I’ve decided that I can no longer endorse this range as long as this issue persists. I truly hope that management can address this situation, as it would make a world of difference to many loyal customers like myself.

Thank you for your time, and I hope to see improvements in the...

Went for the batting cages, which were decent.

1st time I went everything went well, a tad overpriced but whatever.

2nd time I brought another person and when we went the 70 mph cage was out of balls. Simple fix right? Apparently not...

Walked over to the building to let them know to just go out there and load it. Dude tells me "There's a guy out there just have to yell out and he'll fix it, but I'll yell at him over the PA for you this time" Reloads my card with 1 round. (Yells out other employees name on PA)

Walk over to the cage wait for about 5 minutes. Hard to tell if they had been reloaded. So proceed to 70 mph cage again, to find it still is not throwing baseballs. No workers in site.

Walk back to the building, same dude reloads my card with 1 round. And yells on the PA again.

Walk over to the cages, wait 5 minutes. Nothing. We ended up just hitting on the 60 mph cages.

Finish the remainder of my rounds in those cages, walk up to give back bat and let the same dude know it was never fixed. And that worker only reloaded my card 1 round.

Now I'm not sure which would be the worse worker in this situation, the guy who's supposed to be fixing stuff at the cages, or the guy who won't simply walk out there and fix it himself, or even credit me extra rounds for causing an inconvenience.

Either way if this place is hiring, I'd like to get hired to not...
