I take my dogs here often, mainly because it's close to home and many of the same dogs are there often. It's a fairly large, mostly flat dog park. It is mostly dirt, which I happen to like. But it becomes mud when it rains. There are well maintained restrooms.
The downside is parking is limited and made worse by people from the high school parking there. Parking is supposedly limited to 2 hours, but I've never seen that enforced. Also, the amenities are not kept up. The poop cans are rusted out. The scooper tools are all broken.

Read moreGreat place to take your dog. If you have a puppy I suggest bringing it midday as there will be more friendly people and more energetic dogs. The evening and morning crowd is pretty pretentious and does not like to have their dogs played with. Nothing against them it's just the way things are. Also one of the gate doors doesn't close properly, I'm going to buy a bungie cord for it or if anyone else wants to bring one from home that would help.
