Today, Tuesday July 2, 2019, I visited a quiet calm park. It was about 3:45pm when I arrived. I was at this park to pickup my daughter.
No children were around except for the ones at a day camp.
Spoiler alert:
Be aware that the bathrooms do not have running water and the hot fan to dry hands do not work. So why give Carmel Creek Neighborhood park five stars?
The park was litter free.
Bathroom dysfunctional seems normal for government sponsored parks. Bring your own water, wipes, and other toiletries.
Also, it is a neighborhood park so I figure no one who lives nearby needs to go to the bathroom.
Hail Mary full of grace, please bring reason between the ears of empty space!
Tangentially speaking, Blessed Virgin Mother, Mary! Please help California! Am I wrong? Hate speech seems to be any speech that the Communist disagrees such as the faith and morals taught and upheld by the Catholic Church. Marriage has been legally re-defined. So, is it hate speech to state that men and women are interchangeable and therefore every child should have a right to their own biological mom and dad. Not accepting gender ideology is defined as "homophobic" according to Celebrity Catholic Jesuit James Martin, but Pope Francis says gender ideology is diabolical so is Pope...
Read moreThis park has unfortunately become a very unpleasant place to bring young children, especially in the late afternoon. Dog owners routinely let their dogs run off-leash, despite clear leash laws. I’ve witnessed dogs occupying playground areas, including under the slides, making it unsafe and intimidating for kids to play. To make matters worse, there’s dog poop scattered throughout the park, and many owners don’t bother to clean up after their pets. Some even act as if the park is a private dog park, shouting at others to keep gates closed so their dogs don’t escape. It’s incredibly frustrating and inconsiderate. The city needs to enforce leash laws here. Shame on the irresponsible dog owners who continue to ignore rules and put others at risk. Until something changes, I would strongly advise families with small children to avoid this park in...

There's bathrooms close by, but they're not the cleanest. Swings have been removed, but I hope that's just temporary during COVID. There's a covered area with five tables. My son had a great time playing there this morning. Just a side note, most people were wearing masks at this park. I thought that was great since it's...
