Loved it! Parking was a little difficult (we parked on the park side and walked over to the beach from there), but that’s probably because we arrived on a Saturday afternoon so best to get there early on a weekend summer day or even better to go on a week day. We will definitely be going back… probably next weekend!

Update (8/20/22): We had a much better experience with parking today. They open the lot right above the beach at 10am (on Saturdays, at least) so, if you’re going on a weekend, my recommendation is to get there around 9:30 and wait in line to get one of the first spots (especially if you’re bringing a lot of stuff). Warning for those with dogs, they will need to be leashed the whole time and are only really allowed on the side areas away from the main swim area. Some lifeguards are cool with you’re dogs being off leash when taking a dip on the side areas, but some want dogs on leash at all times. We lucked out a bit because we had paddle boards (they charge additional $9 to bring those in) and chilled with him in the water and no one said anything. Another thing to note is that they only open sections of the swim area at a time and the amount of people there depends on how many of the swim sections (3 total) they open up at all. Some of their regulations are a bit frustrating, but the lifeguards are pretty cool and we had a great time. We will go back, especially for paddle boarding.
