Puddingstone lake — Attraction in Pomona

I was five turning six years old when my Grandfather took me fishing here at Puddingstone Lake. I'm 58 now, my Grandfather has long past. The memory is as vivid, and detailed as if it was only yesterday that we loaded up our fishing gear in his old station wagon that had that rear facing seat with a view out the back window where I would normally sit and give tailgaters the middle finger if they got too close for comfort. Not that morning though! I was promoted to the front seat with Papa where I was informed that I would be riding shotgun. By far one of my favorite lakes to hang out at or hike all the way around. There's a board that illustrates the entire path around the lake. It's 12 miles long, but extremely worth it if you ask me! You get so many different terrains, it feels like a tour of the US based on the different geographical scenery you cone by! One minute, you're in the swamps, the next, up in the mountains, then in the beach, and if a certain section before reaching the raging waters area is dry, it looks like a field full of wheat.
