I was five turning six years old when my Grandfather took me fishing here at Puddingstone Lake. I'm 58 now, my Grandfather has long past. It's 12 miles long, but extremely worth it if you ask me! You get so many different terrains, it feels like a tour of the US based on the different geographical scenery you cone by! One minute, you're in the swamps, the next, up in the mountains, then in the beach, and if a certain section before reaching the raging waters area is dry, it looks like a field full of wheat.
