We passed by the Golden Gate Picnic Spot on our way down to the beach, and while the area offers beautiful views and a relaxing space to sit, the public restrooms were not very clean during our visit. Tip: Use the restroom at the nearby coffee shop or visitor center before heading down to the picnic area or beach. The spot itself is scenic and peaceful—perfect for a quick break with views of the bridge and ocean.

One of the best places to watch the Golden Gate Bridge. It’s quiet and feels like a personal viewing spot. The pictures are amazing from this view/angle. Really good place to sit and have snacks while watching the bridge.
