This beach has one of the best photographic views of the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. There are a lot of activities going on for this public beach, however, you should still manage to get some pictures in. This beach is a wonderful spot, especially in the late afternoon when you can enjoy a beautiful sunset over the Golden Gate Bridge. We discovered this gem while driving along the coast from the windmills in Golden Gate Park. The parking lot is relatively small, and it seemed to be primarily frequented by locals.

Absolutely breathtaking sunsets with an easily accessible walk to the sandy beach with views to the right of the Golden Gate Bridge. Coming from the north after the bridge, take the first exit and follow signs to the parking area. There are porta-potties in a pinch if needed. Can get crowded but definitely worth the views.
