Read moreThe best thing about Equator Coffees at Golden Gate is the stunning view — that’s the main reason to visit. You can sit and look out at the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, the ocean, and the passing boats. It’s a truly breathtaking location, perfect for soaking in the scenery.
Another special feature is the history of the café. Originally established in 1935, the building still carries that vintage charm. If you appreciate historical spots that retain their character — this place is for you.
However, keep in mind that it’s a very popular and touristy spot, so we had to wait about 20 minutes just to get our coffee. That’s a bit of a downside. Also, it was quite windy in the area, and by the time we got our drinks, we were already cold.
