It's beautiful with a great view. We went for a family member's birthday. Parking is no bueno but if you take away the cars just to get a really good look at the place... The park is beautiful. It's like being in the projects and you find this hidden treasure that's beautiful. They had the Baybee Boss Pop Up Event going on at the same time... It was pretty nice (Entrepreneur vendors) we really didn't get to check it out because I was hungover but it was nice. As for restrooms omggg porta potties and I don't do porta potties. If you decide to go, take wipes, toilet paper.. travel Lysol spray whatever you need to make you feel safe and sanitized because who knows what's been going on in those porta potties and I don't even want to imagine. It's was sunny 😎 but windy but again, the view of San Francisco is always...

Pleasant, relatively new and secluded spot along the old industrial waterfront with good Bay views. It's on a couple levels, playground and lawn up top, trees and a point below. Parking spots near the entrance or head down towards the water and park along the circle. Easy to access, Evans from Third is a four-lane boulevard with modern commercial buildings such as the USPS and Mitchell Engineering. The best part is the bike trail and bridge connecting to Heron's Head Park, it's well designed and modern (from 2017 it appears) with informational displays, including a separate area describing the reclamation of the old PG&E Hunters Point Power Plant to create the shoreline strip. Out of the crowd at Crane Cove, just down Third a bit, and...

Lots of beautiful greenery. Large trees and beautiful colorful ships sitting out on the Bay. We dined on perfectly cooked Oxtails with veggies from the Hard Knock Cafe. The air was chilly., We didn't mind.it was a celebration of my 1st born Miles birthday. He departed one year ago. Memories live on. We shed some tears and some chuckles also. The 🌳 we dined under was huge and it felt safe like a huge 🌂. We looked at how very blessed i am to have children. Grand and Great Grands also. It is a long line of ancestors who paved the way and yes i am grateful indeed. I could hear Miles saying stay on assignment. We got one time down here and i...

This park is connected to the new waterfront park and there are two adjacent areas. Herons head trail is connected to India basin by a half paved and half dirt walking path that goes through the marshland/Hunters Point Shoreline. If you walk a block or so up on Innes from the Waterfront Park, you can access the india basin open space area on Arelious Walker street. There are parking lots at Herons Head, India Basin Shoreline on Hawes street, and Arelious Walker. There is some limited parking on Innes. There is no parking on Hudson.

Designated picnic area with multiple tables and benches. The location is situated next to the shore. Its like a basic spot for an meal. You should be aware that there are no food vendors, restaurants, or convenience stores in the immediate vicinity. You must bring all of your own food and drinks, as nothing is available for purchase on-site or within easy walking distance. For transportation, the site is located close to the 101 freeway, which allows for direct access by car.

Small neighborhood park that offers a nice up-to-date playground, a basketball court, and tons of field space. It's great for out door recreation and on occasion you may come across a party. The running trail leads you along the shoreline the water can get smelly when it's hot. The park is clean but it's tucked away. My non profit rented the park for out first event and we were highly pleased.
