This park need a little more of loving and tender care. It is a nice park that I can see been used by all kinds people at all time. From young kids riding their tricycles with their parents, young mother with their baby in the stroller, to some elderly ladies walking in group and gossiping away. People with their dogs on leashes of cause, and couple getting their daily walks everyday. Many benches throughout the park also the picnic tables. Lots trees has been planted but many of them are dead already. It is waste of money if there is a budget to plan those trees but not watering them enough for then to survive and grow. It is very sad to see this nice neighborhood park going downhill to the current conditions. I hope city of San Jose can put more resources into it. just wish……

This Park is conviently located off the 61 and 70 VTA bus routes. Joggers and walkers alike make use of the trails daily and you are guaranteed to see the regulars. Dogs area welcome, but pay heed to the signs greeting you at the entrance.🤔💩👼. Bathroom with handicapped access on grounds and water fountain available for pets as well as their humans. BBQ grill and concrete picnic benches available. Pond during rainy season.

Nice park with amenities alongside a creek. There is also a pond. Both the creek and the pond were dry, but it's still a nice walk along the trail. There were ground squirrels, and a couple red hawks trying to catch them.

Part of a nice bike trail (although it consists of several disjointed parts with nonsensically lacking transitions: no lowered curb or crossing at Mabury Road; no coherent connection across Capitol, etc.) And they never do anything about the homeless trashing it. But they spend money on a big pretentious portal near the new BART station. Stupid, just saying. Fitness equipment. Shallow seasonal creek is fun for kids to explore. Used to have a very nice pond with happy waterfowl, but County maintenance dealt it a death blow by cutting and killing all the reeds along the shore. Sigh. Used to have a fountain, too, (strangely misplaced in the unkempt natural-looking pond, like the lamp post in Narnia's lantern waste) and helpful drinking fountains along the walkway, but these features fell victim to drought restrictions when all water got turned off, never to return. Still a nice place...

Wow! I've been living in San Jose for 4 Years, and just recently found this little gem hidden in plain sight! Parking is very limited on good weather days. But, if you can time it right or get lucky, the hiking trails is well worth the effort. I ended up parking in a nearby neighborhood and warmed up with a 10 minutes walk to the park. But once I got into the park area, I can instantly feel the impact of changing atmosphere. It's a great place to find my center. I didn't include any photos with my review here because I was capturing the scenery in vivid...
